Designed as an absolute rocket for cross-country races and smooth-flowing trails, the Schwalbe Rocket Ron Addix 27.5in Tire balance relatively low rolling resistance with stabilizing studs for confidence-inspiring traction while you're racing and riding. It's often ran in the front of cross-country bikes, paired with a Racing Ralph by Schwalbe in the rear for a near-perfect combination of rolling speed out back with additional grip up front.

This TL Easy version is ready for tubeless set-up, allowing you to reap the benefits of greater traction and bump compliance when you're running lower tire pressures. It's upgraded with Addix SpeedGrip, which replaces the previous PaceStar compound for greater longevity when you're riding on a regular basis. This all-around compound is ideal for applications ranging from cross-country to trail by balancing speed, grip, and durability.

The SnakeSkin protection fortifies the tire from sidewall slashes, albeit with a moderate weight penalty over the lighter race-specific versions of this tire. This provides added peace of mind on more technical terrain where abrasive rocks and roots often lead to flats on the trail. Additionally, SnakeSkin sidewalls make sealing up the tires in tubeless form an easier ordeal, when compared with standard Schwalbe Tires.
