Waterproof performance meets trail comfort in the Vento GTX Hiking Boot
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I’ve been wearing the Vento GTX on local trails and it’s quickly become my go-to for everything from quick out-and-backs to full-day hikes. The Vibram outsole gives it great grip even on loose terrain, and I love how the PU midsole cushions without feeling bulky."
From high-desert day hikes to light overnight treks, the Scarpa Vento GTX Hiking Boot delivers reliable performance with a lightweight feel. Built in Europe and backed by GORE-TEX Extended Comfort, this boot keeps our feet dry in unexpected downpours and creek crossings, while the suede and fabric upper balances breathability with trail-tough durability.
We count on the PU midsole to offer all-day comfort and support on rocky climbs, and the Vibram rubber outsole gives us the confident traction we need across wet rock and loose gravel. A PU toe rand adds an extra layer of protection when we're scrambling or moving fast through rugged zones. Whether it's our first hike of the season or a long weekend in the backcountry, the Vento GTX helps us move comfortably, efficiently, and without compromise.
