Vapor Climbing Shoe
Scarpa revamped the Vapor Climbing Shoe with a technical prowess that excels on crimpy routes, subtle overhangs, and even thin cracks. Its suede and microfiber upper uses minimal stitching to eliminate hot spots, and the padded tongue enhances comfort on long climbs. Scarpa's Bi-Tension randing keeps the Vapor at a moderate downturn, and the Flexan midsole helps the shoe stay stiff for life. Vibram's XS Edge rubber gives this shoe a good grip on granite edges, slippery limestone, and soft sandstone alike.

Comfortable performance shoes
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I have a pair of Vapor V and I love them a lot, so I want to get these new version to compare with them. Compared with Vapor V, the size is a little bit small (both 7.5, these feel a little bit tight). The toe box is wide, which I really like and the grip on small foot holds are very stable. These are not very aggressive bouldering shoes, I feel it is best used for sports climbing.

Great comfortable mileage shoe
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Got these as more of a comfort shoe to use when warming up and getting mileage in. When I first got them they would pinch the bottom of my foot like they were too narrow but after a few days they were pretty comfortable. I've been climbing in them for 3 months indoors and out and like them for edging on vertical and slightly overhung climbs. I like the narrow heel and it's nice for slotting in small spaces or getting behind small jugs. I'm about a 45 in street shoe and got these in 44.5 and wear solution comps in 43 for reference. They have broken in but still feel snug and I don't think they're going to stretch much. The rubber that comes on the shoe is quite thin but it's holding up and will probably last another 3 months of climbing 3 times a week. All in all a great shoe that basically does everything.
