SalomonXR Sensibelt Lumbar Pack

Your very own support system.

Having a whole crew to back you up during middle-distance trail runs would be a little weird, but you won't need outside support with the Salomon XR Sensibelt Lumbar Pack. The adjustable belt lets you get the fit just right, while the Airvent design keeps you cool and the assorted pockets hold gels, keys, and the included 20-ounce water bottle.

Needs Improvement - Bottle falls out

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Pros - Love the large velcro strap which makes the belt adjustable for any waist size. The waist belt is also very stretchy which minimizes bounce when running. The large pouch is great and fits an iphone and more.

Cons - The Bottle sucks and the FALLS OUT CONSTANTLY! which makes this being a hydration belt kinda useless. I tried the original bottle and my camelbak podium bottles and it still falls out.

The pack can be really great if they redesign the bottle holder to not Flare out, (it will be less inviting for the bottle to just fall out). Since it flares out, there is nothing that really grips the bottle to keep it down, and it just flys out.

I returned it after a few test runs

Just velcrow the bottle to the inside and it should stay snug.

The bit of elastic webbing that runs across the bottle pocket is intended to be stretched over the top of the bottle. This secures the bottle in place when running. I had the same issues initially until figuring this out.

Even without the elastic webbing my bottle stays in its place.
