Warden MNC 11 Ski Binding

The beauty of the Salomon Warden MNC 11 Ski Binding lies in its bombproof reliability and versatile compatibility. Multi Norm Certified, it accommodates a wide range of boot sole types, with a low profile toe piece built directly into the platform for solid performance and power transmission. The wide toe piece and mounting pattern helps drive wide skis better than traditional bindings, with a low stand height for increased control in variable terrain. Progressive transfer pads beneath the toe help dampen shock and vibrations, while a heel flex interface in the heel piece guarantees a natural ski flex. The Warden MNC is equipped with automatic wing adjustment, manual toe height adjustment, and an easy step-in heel for less time spent clicking in and more time on the mountain.

  • A reliable lightweight ski binding for exploratory skiers
  • Mid-range DIN options accommodate intermediate skier levels
  • Versatile compatibility with alpine, AT, and WTR boot sole types
  • Oversized platform ensures maximum lateral power transmission
  • Low profile chassis increases feedback and nimble control
  • Self retracting brakes eliminate hangups on switch landings
  • Anti-friction system ensures a reliable release

Exactly as I hoped

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 115mm

Perfect for what I wanted.

Refund/Replacement Dissapointment

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Just to be clear and fair, I had to purchase another set of these bindings that I will provide a positive rating for. My 1 star rating is based on the arrival/refund/return process on these specific bindings. These bindings came to me in very bad shape and obviously previously used condition. All parts were scrambled up inside the box as if they were dumped out of a bucket. The bindings were marred, scratched and some hardware appeared missing.

The return request did go very smoothly and I was able to return the bindings the very next day. However, it was December 11th at 11:15 am I sent the bindings back via our local UPS store and my information shows the bindings were received and processed by Backcountry through the return and processed on December 16th. However, I still have not received my $199 refund credited to my credit card per the directions from the CSR personnel.

I simultaneously, (as instructed by the CSR who handled my return) purchased a 2nd pair of bindings and I was immediately charged for those. So, currently as of today, December 30th, 2020 I am still waiting for my refund. Kind of poor fiscal processing and customer service in my opinion. Just rubs me the wrong way a bit and thought I'd share.

Good cross over

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have a crossover AT boot. This binding lets me switch from my touring set up to my inbound skis without swapping the sole of my boots. They really drive my powder ski with awesome control, With a great price. I love them!

Great option for touring boots

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I loved these bindings so much, I’m slowing transferring all of my resort skis over to this setup. I wanted to ditch my alpine boots this year and only use my tecnica zero g pros for touring and in bounds, and these bindings are a great, affordable option. My husband also uses with his mountain labs and loves these for resort skiing.

Warden Jr.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Ive ridden the Warden 13 since it came out and its by far the best binding Ive owned. That being said when it was time to get my wife new skis it was a no brainer to get her on these. same function in a lighter package. If you are looking for a great binding and you have a lower din setting these are for you.

Same Great Binding, Smaller Package

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I have loved the Salomon STH for years. but for smaller skiers, that binding can be a bit much. So if you are a person who is on the lower end of the DIN spectrum, and want to have a binding that can take multiple kinds of boots, this is the one for you!

Solid.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great binding for an intermediate skier who's looking to progress. Din range allows for all skier types and the durability makes this binding great for anyone.

Great Sturdy Binding!

This is a great binding for resort skiing!

    Baller Bindings

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The wider toe piece and larger platform make these bindings perfectly suited for anyone wanting to get on wider skis. They're sturdy and lightweight and the all black looks sleek as well. I paired these up with the Armada ARW 96 skis and its a killer combo.
