Vaya Blaze TS CSWP Boot

Big clunky winter boots might be warm, but they don’t exactly offer all-day comfort and are far from aesthetically pleasing. Salomon’s Vaya Blaze TS CSWP Boots offer plenty of insulated warmth while maintaining a sleek profile that blends right in whether at work, class, or a weekend hike in the snow. The two-hundred gram insulation rating packs plenty of warmth without a noticeable increase in weight to strike a perfect balance between coziness and functionality. A fully waterproof materials lay-up ensures that your toes stay completely dry even when warmer afternoon temperatures make the streets slushy. A built-in winter sockliner surrounds the foot in a soft and cozy material for unbeatable coziness.

Warm feet are happy feet

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I ordered these boots looking for an all around winter boot and they are perfect! They may not be the most stylish, but they are insanely comfortable so I do not care how they look. They keep my feet toasty warm when trudging though snow and keep me steady on slippery ground! They do run a bit large length wise. I could have probably gone down a half size, but I stayed with my usual size to allow for thick socks.

Cute boots, if they fit you

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I thought these boots were nice looking, almost like a waterproof high top sneaker. I find Salomons usually run larger in the toe box. These did not. I have had several pairs of xa pro 3d sneakers over the last 20 years and loved them. I found these to be narrower in the toes. I ordered both the 7 and 7.5, I'm typically a 7.5 in most shoes, 7 in Salomon. The 7's my toes were right at the edge and too narrow, the 7.5 felt equally as narrow and I don't have wide feet. Thanks to Backcountry for shipping super quick and offering free returns.

They look great

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

First, these are great looking as I had hoped. But they run a little large length wise for me. I got them for using just to walk around shopping, etc. They should work well for that given that they appear to be waterproof. But they have almost no arch support nor ankle support, so I wouldn't use them for actual hiking.

Perfect for an everyday winter boot/shoe

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I?ve gotten a lot of compliments on the looks of these, but more importantly they are nice and warm, very comfortable (if you like the Vaya lineup), and waterproof. If you?re not familiar with the Vaya fit/feel, they are nice for a wider toe box than the Outline and have a nice Contragrip sole, and are light like a non-hiking shoe. Fits true to size and you should be able to fit your thicker socks!
