Too small and narrow
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Returning these. I have a hard time finding shoes small enough, a true size 5, and these were too small and narrow. Might try sizing up, because they are very light and might be comfortable.

Not Sure
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I didn't get to wear these as they are waaayyy too small. I went by other reviews that said they are true to size so I went with a 9, I wear anything from an 8.5 to a 9 so decided the larger side would be better. I can barely get these on. My toes are all the way at the end with zero wiggle room. I would love to send them back for a 9.5 but it looks like there are none left. If you are looking at getting these in one of the sizes they have remaining I would caution you to go a bit larger than you normally wear. So disappointed.

Great Mid Hiking Boot
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I really like this boot for both short and long hikes, the over the ankle fit provides good stability and support. I have worn it in all conditions, and it holds up well and stays dry in mud, snow, and ice. This boot also fits well with spikes for winter hiking. Plus the GORE-TEX membrane makes it is easy to clean after putting it though the wringer! I have found that the boot is true to size, if you own other Solomon hiking boots I would buy the same size in this style.

I wanted to like it so bad because I got it at a good price, but it?s just too narrow for my foot.

Amazing Boots
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I?ve worn these on hot and dry hikes, rainy hikes, snow hikes with crampons attached. I have no complaints. I ordered a half size up after reading reviews about them being too narrow and they fit perfectly with hiking socks.

great, but a little snug
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
First, this is a great, lightweight hiking boot. That said, Salomon runs just a little on a narrow side. Lengthwise it's true to size. Widthwise, it's a little narrow. I wear a size 8 in regular shoes. I purchased an 8.5, I'm 5'6 and 140 pounds. First three days of a 10-day backpacking trip, no problem. But after that I began to feel the pressure across the widest part of my foot. No blisters, though, which is important to note! So I've returned them for a credit and will repurchase the same boot, but in a size 9. I think that will solve the problem. Otherwise, loved the boot!

The best shoe I own!!!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These boots are phenomenal. My friend recommended these to me (friend pictured with her boots on too) because on my last hike before buying these, my feet got COMPLETELY soaked. I’ve worn them for hours and hours and my feet still feel on clouds! They’re so easy to clean after hiking on a muddy trail and not a single drop of water gets in them! 20/10 highly recommend these boots! Can?t wait to take these on so many more hikes!

Versatile Hiking Boots
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These have become my favorite hiking boots! I have lots of different hiking boots for different terrains and hikes, but I've found these have combined my favorite aspects of all of my other boots in one. Super lightweight, structured heel and sole (I live in a really rocky area), and nice wide toe box. They didn't need any break in period, so I was able to enjoy them right out of the box and they're still doing great months later.

My favorite boot
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I take on big hikes and backpacking trips living in Colorado. I prefer a lighter boot and tried so many. Then I found these! I love them, and buy a new pair each year. I am: 5'9" 145 Size 9.5-10 but theses run big! I buy a 9 Wide feet & very high arch These hug my feet and keep my ankles supported. I always waterproof them and try to be sure to wash them off after big hikes and store them inside (this really makes a difference!) I have backpacked 20+ miles in these at a time and done little trail runs in them. The only thing that sucks is the hooks a the top, they catch sometimes on my other boots laces and trip me! ***Reason for the 4 stars. Please change this feature Salomon!!! It sucks so much to fall because of a boot error and not your own. **** I will say that when I do hikes like 14ers and scrambles I stick with my Scarpa's because these don't match the traction and foot protection they do.

Really nice boot, but too narrow

I love these boots and really wanted to keep them. Beautiful colors and nice light-weight. However, they run narrow. I sent them back and kept the Keen Targhee boots instead - they had more room in the forefoot.
