Pro Comfort and Performance.
Designed to waffle between gutless climbs and soul-sucking descents, the Salomon Men's Odyssey Pro Hiking Shoe provides adaptive support as you navigate technical terrain. The Odyssey features a quick-drying and breathable mesh, while the textile overlays provide torsional support and protection. A gusseted and stretchy tongue offers natural mobility, and prevents debris from infiltrating your socks and bestowing you with unsavory hot spots. Plus, the EnergyCell+ midsole attenuates shock, enhances energy return, and promotes swift transitions, so you're able to make the most of the terrain at hand and your stride. Not to mention, the High Traction Contagrip outsole features a bevy of small, yet tenacious lugs that encourage a natural stride and flex with the bones and tendons in your foot.

- Breathable mesh upper is also stretchy for mobility
- Full seamless design prevents hot spots
- Ortholite sockliner provides a comfortable fit
- Midsole attenuates shock and disperses impact

The Thru-Hiker's Shoe
As a Salomon employee, we were especially excited to launch the Odyssey Pro! This shoe is designed specifically for long days on the trail, day after day after day. Vibe technology is lightweight, absorbs vibrations (which means less fatigue), and provides great cushioning. While this shoe is lightweight, it is also extremely durable. How does the use of this shoe compare to that of the Outpath? Seems like both are light weight hiking shoes? Which one would be better for an every day shoe for long-term travel. (use for cities, pavement, hiking, trails, etc.) day after day for months and months? Thanks.
