Weird material, sizing way off

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I purchased this item for hiking in warm weather. I am a 40" bust and ordered the XL, hoping it would be slightly loose like in the pictures. This top was nearly skin tight. The material is different than I expected - it feels a little rough or scratchy and isn't the smooth, soft, or slippery feeling typical for these types of shirts. Also, something that is hard to see in the pictures-- there is a mesh back panel that ends several inches below the bottom hem. The bottom 4" or so of the back is the same material as the front and sleeves. This isn't a big deal in itself but there is a very big serged seam between those two panels and it hits right by the top of the waistband. I am not sure how comfortable that would be if you're wearing a pack and that seam is rubbing.
