An Essential Piece to Own & Carry

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

A lightweight/packable jacket that actually protects you from the elements! When I head out to the mountains for a run this is the jacket I pack for those unpredictable shifts in weather. No matter if it is rain, snow, wind or a combination of elements this jacket has held up and kept me protected.

The only downfall is sometimes the zipper gets stuck on nylon strip, but once I became aware of that it was easy to avoid.

Never leave home without it

  • Fit: True to size

If there's a cloud in the sky, this jacket will come with me. It's so small and light, it can fit into any backpack or belt pack and it keeps you warm and dry in the wettest conditions.
This is a must have for any trail or mountain runner headed out for an adventure!

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I had hope this jacket would work for me Upon arrival, I was expecting a bit more "weight" to the jacket, even though it was described as only 6 oz. the size was a bit tight...but the funniest part of trying to fit the hood over my melon head! I didn't think my head was that big!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

This jacket packs down smaller than a soda can and weighs almost nothing! I can always find a little spot in my pack for it. It’s great to have on hand. I was so surprised at how soft and pliable the fabric was but yet I’ve spent hours in wind and heavy rain and stayed dry. Last weekend I slipped and fell under this waterfall as I was trying to cross the river below (I wasn't completely submerged just fell on a rock with the waterfall coming down on top of me) and the phone in my pocket was dry, my whole upper body was dry. My feet and legs, not so much.

The fit of the jacket is another great feature. It’s comfortable and moves with me. The hood is snug and scrunches up on the sides and back with a small visor to keep rain off my face. The elbows are articulated in a way that the jacket fits best when I’m running or hiking. There’s no fabric pulling or bunching in the shoulders or elbows like other jackets I’ve had. It’s tailored for movement.

Great Lightweight Jacket

I use this jacket during my daily morning runs and I just love it! It's thick enough so I'm not cold at the start of my run or if there is a small breeze. But it's not so thick that I get too hot and it's extremely breathable.

If your like me, your hands are always cold. But I don't like to wear gloves on my run. So, the thumb holes on this jacket have been an added bonus for my cold-blooded self.
