Salewa Wildfire

Bought these mainly because I wanted a lace-to-toe trail runner and I thought they looked good & they were priced very well (sale). I have had them for a few months and they are incredible. Best fit & support I've ever had from a trail runner. They transition easily from the trail to the office to the jobsite. I'm a flatlander, so I can't speak to how they perform & wear on more difficult approaches. However, they chew up the hills & limestone around here easily. I've been so impressed with them that I bought the alternative color and also bought a pair for my wife. I am completely sold, not only on Salewa, but also Backcountry from whom I purchased all three pair. Thanks!

Salewa Wildfire Hiking Shoe - Men's

Bought these to replace an older pair of Salewa's to use as a light hiker (day pack to 20lbs) Super comfortable and good grip on trail and rocks. But... not enough stiffness and protection on the instep on rocky/scree type terrain. I'll use these alot - but I'm gonna have to find a different pair for hiking rockier trails.
