Ravine Snowboard

Whether you are spending your day at the resort or in your favorite backcountry zone bring along the Rome Ravine Snowboard to power through some super fast groomer laps, slash a pocket of wind loaded snow, or rip a big front five off of a natural take off. This poppy and responsive board floats exceptionally well due to the Free-The-Ride 3D profile. A powerful camber section from the front foot to the tail provides excellent edge hold on firm snow while also dropping the back foot in pow for enhanced float. This float is further boosted by the flat and rocker sections in front of the front foot to complete a package that thrives in deep and untouched snow but also easily skips through afternoon crud and carves down groomers.

  • Powder board that brings freestyle prowess to the steep and deep
  • Directional shape offers control at high speeds and while carving
  • Free-The-Ride 3D offers exceptional float and edge to edge control
  • Medium-stiff flex is powerful and stable while remaining jibby
  • Biax and triax laminates add torsional rigidity to boost edge hold
  • Pop core is lightweight and responsive for big pop all over
  • SinterTrue base helps you cruise out of long flat run outs

Very versatile Board

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have to admit that it wasn't love at first site. The board has this very vivid personality to it that makes you think your out off control, but the second you start going down the hill a little faster than your use to and figure you are in control of that extra speed is when you know this is something special . I'm no expert on details but what I can tell by my experience is; it has the tools for what ever you throw here in. That being said I don't think is a good board if your learning do to the fact of his vivid nature and flat/ front camber makes the board a little unpredictable. Other than that this board makes a great add to anybody looking for a fun board that can go any where.

Quiver Killer

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Hit the endless acres of mountains with this one stop shop of a board! After a few runs I fell in love with this boards versatility in way of it's powerful pop and lethal edge control. Pair that with effortless float in the deep stuff and presses for days and you have the one board that rules them all!

Ps I'm 165 lbs and got the 155 cm

What size boot are you?

The Ravine delivers the fun

I got to ride a prototype version of the Ravine last season and had such a good time on this board. A slight tapered shape, with 3D rocker in the nose is perfect to float thru deeper or choppy snow. This board is a little softer than the Rome Mountain Division (which is my go-to all mtn board) and is a little more playful and loose. I would recommend it for anyone looking to add a smooth riding all mountain board to the quiver.

Rome 2019 Ravine Snowboard

We’ve shaped and powered the new Ravine for a life of exploring mountain terrain, whether it is at your favorite resort or deeper in the backcountry. With a feel driven by our triple-zone Free-The-Ride camber, the Ravine is crafted for fully-powered groomer runs, high-walled gullies, and those bottomless secret spots. For those days when Alek Østreng wants to shred powder, he grabs the Ravine for a floaty board that he can also spin and pillage transition on.

Surf style around the whole mountain

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this board. It has the best shape. Strong it the back, tons of pop and great landing gear when you need it. The nose is 3D rocker in front of your front foot, and it lets the board roll into and out of turns easy. It also floats effortlessly in the deep stuff. Unlock your inner snowsurfer and ride this board!
