    SIXC DH Handlebar

The Race Face SIXC DH Handlebar, with its unmatched durability and crazy low weight, defies riding categories. Race Face starts with its "leading edge" carbon composite material and shapes it into a 785mm-wide bar with 8 degrees of backsweep and 4 of upsweep. The result is bombproof construction and a comfortable configuration.

Race Face reinforced the grip areas of the bar to withstand the clamping force of lock-on grips—a no-no with most carbon bars. And while it may not be as light as the company's vaporous Next series of components, this 785mm bar tips the scales at a mere 220g. The Race Face SIXC DH handlebar has a 31.8mm clamping area and 19mm rise. The bars can be safely trimmed down to 710mm wide.

    Burly but light bars

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Confidence inspiring, available in the most pleasing of colourways, and plenty wide for all-mountain riding!

    It's got purty colors

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It's a really great bar and comes in some nice color options to make the bike all matchy-matchy. And isn't that what's important?

    Bigger is better

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Moved up from some skinny bars (650ish range) on my Santa Cruz tallboy LTc and I am very pleased with the change in comfort for both climbing and descending. I was expecting the increased steering power on the descents, but I was not expecting that a bigger platform would feel better for the ups. But it does. I have broad shoulders and noticed that I was always on the end of my bars on long rides. Having the longer bars definitely helps with fatigue on long days. I haven't noticed any problems with steering in steep climbs. I don't like bars with much sweep and these definitely do not feel like they have much.

    Carbon strong

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Carbon, wide 785mm, strong, simple. This bar is a great bar for those looking for something a bit more wide than your normal 760mm. This bar is great for DH and aggressive trail riding. Wide bars are now standard and 785mm is the sweet spot. Its not heavy although its concerned a DH bar.

    Wide and light

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These bars are the perfect fit for my trail bike, not quite dh width, but wide enough to impose my will over the trail. Have recommended these to friends and the consensus is they are awesome.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Solid bar at a great weight. I feel like the 35mm systems are too harsh feeling, luckily this comes in a 31.8mm at the right width and does the trick. No complaints.

    Great Bar!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Finally upgraded to a wider bar, definitely a good move!

    Great Bar!!

    crash tested

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

make sure you get the right size stem, These bars only work with the 31.8mm stems and will not work with the 35mm stem. I have put these bars through some gnarly wrecks and they have come out surprisingly un touched. Also make sure to clamp your controls down to the correct torque.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Extremely light and stiff... these bars are a game changer. Replaced alloy Race Face bars on my Santa Cruz Nomad and what a great compliment to the way the bike handles. The front feels stiffer and the carbon dampens the trail chatter!

I was debating on these bars or spending 100 more and getting the ENVE 800 mm bars and I am glad I got the race face sixc bars. The length is perfect and the rise and upsweep feel great.

still have not taken it to the bike park but just based on my initial ride these bars will hold up!

    Awesome wide bars!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Turquoise makes all things better! Got these for my SB5c, was running 730mm bars but felt a bit too cramped so I opted for these. I tried the 785mm but definitely too wide for my small frame (5'7" 145lb) so I cut them down to 765mm. With a short 50mm stem the cockpit now feels perfect!

    nice broom stick!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Crazy light, but very stiff and still damp – my hands are far less fatigued on rough descents with these bars. I bought them with the intention of cutting them down 10-20 mm, but after riding them a few times, I don’t want to give up the control or comfort.

    Awesome bars!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

When I had originally ordered these bars I thought I was getting the 725mm size but an ordering error resulted in the 785mm low rise version shown above. I couldn't have been more happy with this mix-up. I have the upper body proportions of someone close to 6'5

    Great Bars

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm a lightweight rider and found the 35mm SIXc too stiff for my liking so I went for the DH, 31.8mm option instead. They hold up to all the abuse I've thrown at them in rock gardens and freeride trails. I cut 6mm off of each side and find the wide bar / short stem combo perfect on my Nomad.

    Confidence Boosting Descents

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These wide bars give me a lot of confidence when the bike's pointing downward. The carbon not only takes the edge off in hand comfort, but the width makes you super stable on the steeps and also helps you lean the bike more instead of turning the bars.
