At just 1 pound 7.3 ounces the Mythic 400 compresses into a waterproof roll-top stuff sack small enough to tuck into the bottom of a fast-and-light alpine pack, and the 7-denier Atmos ripstop shell sheds weight without giving up the durability you need on technical terrain where your bag is going to take some abuse.

The construction details inside the Mythic 400 are what justify its place on a serious mountaineering kit list. Chevron baffles and trapezoidal walls work together to prevent down migration and maintain consistent loft distribution through a full night of sleep, so the warmth you packed in stays where it belongs. The Nikwax fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic coating on the down itself ensures the insulation keeps lofting even if condensation or a surprise storm pushes moisture into the bag. An adjustable draft tube seals out cold air at the zipper, and a three-quarter length zip keeps weight down while still giving you enough ventilation to manage temperature on milder nights.
