Rab wrapped the Firewall Light in a 3-layer Pertex Shield laminate over a 100% nylon face fabric that seals out rain and wind while breathing well enough to stay comfortable under sustained effort. Fully sealed seams close off every potential entry point, and the hip-length cut provides coverage without getting in the way of footwork on technical terrain. The helmet-compatible hood features a wired peak that keeps rain off your face on exposed ridges and rappels, and the dual hand pockets are positioned high enough to remain fully accessible with a harness buckled on, a detail that matters enormously when you are mid-route and need to get in or out quickly. Reflective trim rounds out a jacket that is equally at home on a granite face, a sandstone canyon, or any other place where the weather is part of the objective.
