Why We Like The Black Alder 2L GORE-TEX Snow Jacket
Trees are really what make backcountry skiing interesting, they twist over time, blow in the wind, and fall to create exceptional features. When we are amongst these trees navigating skin tracks and slashing powder we are usually wearing the Quiksilver Black Alder 2L GORE-TEX Snow Jacket. This jacket allows us to stay as stoic as an old growth by utilizing a GORE-TEX laminate to block out driving snow and wind often found on ridges. On the way to the ridges, we un-zip the underarm vents to prevent overheating while we glide up the skin track.
