Perfect for Me

This jacket is perfect for me with a mid-weight layer underneath for winter hikes and snowshoeing when the temp is in the 15-25 degree range, and up to 30 degrees if I?m not actively moving. The ?regular cut? allows me the freedom of movement I desire. Being insulated with down, it?s of course very light and unbulky. The details (buttons, zippers, stitching, etc.) are nice, and the ?two-way? pockets in front (top entry with flaps and direct side entry for hands) are very useful. The outer material seems more sturdy than your typical puffy jacket. To top it off, the orange and blue coloring just plain works for me in Central New York!

Comfy and Warm

This Jacket is a true "regular" so it is a little boxy for me because I am a bit on the slender side. However, the North Palisade has lots of room for me to bundle up underneath and it is a very comfortable jacket. My personal favorite feature is the awesome wristband that is hidden a little further up the sleeve than any other jacket I have had before. This makes it far more comfortable but definitely takes some getting used to. Altogether this jacket is perfect for layering and I haven't been cold in it sofar. I'm looking to forward to testing it's warmth as the winter continues.

Great Jacket!

Bought this for my husband and he loves it! He has used it twice and loves how it fits and he is able to have a shirt or flannel underneath
