Durable and comfy

These are my second pair of Kanab Pants and love them. They are super comfy to wear, and pocket space is spot on. They are super for all around, but I especially love them for camping and travel. Love the color options. Highly recommend.

If only!!!

I wanted to like these pants so much. The fabric is great and probably more breathable than the Nylon of the Summit Joggers I wear all the time. They felt comfortable....almost. But the pockets were below my stomach. The waist was a little too tight. Maybe this is better for climbing and sitting in harnesses--it just wasn't the casual look I was going for.

My bottom half is built strong, I’m talking thick thighs and calves. So the fit of these pants is great for me, despite other reviews saying they’re too baggy. Honestly, I could maybe stand the legs to even be a bit roomier to get the look of the model. I’m 5’ tall, a size 28 in pants and ordered the M in the brown color. Waist is great… length, great. Ordered these for hiking with high hopes. First day out yesterday, 70° average temp. These pants, had my crotch looking like I pee’d myself. No breathability in that region. So much sweat. Black color might have camouflaged the sweat, but you’re still left with the lack of airflow. I’ll reserve these pants for general use, which is a shame because they’re so comfortable out on the trails.

Rear is too baggy

These pants are confusing. I am 5'3" 120lbs. I would probably put my street size at a runner's build, Petite 9? I find zippered waists constricting. I ordered the medium. The waist band is good, very comfy. The length is good enough, a little long. But the butt and hips are way too generous. There are also a lot of weird pockets (I know these are climbing pants), I was looking for all around hiking/city pants. The inner serger work has a lot going on, they feel kinda complicated and weird. I don't know, if you have a thicker rear and hips you might like these, I probably need to return them. They look dumpy on me and have way too much going on.

Too baggy
I am 5'1" and 100lbs. I ordered an XS and the waist did not fit as snug as other brands. The fit is also a bit too baggy for my size. Other than the fit issue the pant is fashionable and made of good quality material. I really wanted them to fit and wish they made an XXS.

Love these

I don't climb but I have 5 pairs of these pants so its easy to say I love them. I use them when I bike, hike and travel. Sometimes I wear them to shop. I like the pull on style including the soft waistband. I especially like the zip pocket for my ID & credit card and the little loop that I use for my sunglasses (I don't know what it actually was made for). I'll buy another when new colors come out :)

Durable...but loose

The pants are great quality and very comfortable but I found myself having to constantly pull them up to avoid a plumber's crack moment while climbing. The waist band is very comfortable but doesn't come in handy when you're moving around a whole lot. I'll be looking for pants with waist cinches next time

Nearly perfect pants for climbing!
- Familiarity:

I ordered a small and a medium in these pants and ended up keeping the medium. I am 5'4" / 125 lbs with somewhat athletic legs. The smalls fit better at the waist but I was worried a bit about range of motion and usability of the pockets on the legs. Sized up to the medium and the legs have plenty of range for unrestricted moving while climbing, the waist is a tad on the large size though. The fabric is super durable, the articulated knees provide plenty of room to move, and the pockets are a dream. My only wish is that these pants had a bit higher rise, otherwise no complaints!
