Halle II Pant vs Halle II Straight Pant
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it

These are not the same. That said, the 28" inseam short on the straight pant and the 30" inseam short on the non-straight version fit the same. I needed a size smaller than usual.

I recently purchased 3 more pairs of these pants in Sandbar, Slate Green and Moonrock to replace a previous generation's fleet of green, dark blue and khaki. These newer pants feel softer, yet seem equally as durable so far. I like the new features like the slot in back pocket for a pen- great for field work. The zipper pulls are easier to grab. The pant leg roll up buttons are only on the outside of the leg, which means there aren't nubbins rubbing against the inside of your knee. My older pairs, going on 5-6 years now, are now strictly outdoor pants for hiking, rock climbing and chopping firewood, as they're still hanging in quite well for the wear they've had. I always air dry these pants, never in the dryer, and that has lengthened their elastic lifespan. These pants are great for work, around town, physical therapy, etc. I lived in Seattle and walked everywhere in the rain and loved how they didn't get sopping wet like other pants, and they dry fairly quickly. They also breathe well during activity in warmer months, climates. They fit well, are flattering and practical for someone with a more muscular and active build like myself- stronger thighs and butt, longer legs. So grateful for being able to feel good wearing a pair of pants made for active, strong women.

Great Material/ Stretch

These are well made, typical of Prana! I can say they fit true to size, but, it's tricky, as I have the 00/short and the length is good, waist too, but they're loose, not tight fitting on me, which is OK, but I wish they were a little more fitted. I still like them a lot, as they do fit. I like the height of the waist band, not too high or low. Cinch tie on the waist along with the buttons, which is great for slight adjustments. Overall, these are awesome, I'd get another color if we had 00/short in stock :) !

Can't Wait To Hike In These!

Never had the Halle 1 pants so I cannot compare sizing, but these fit me great! True to size for me. They don't ride up or slip down when I am walking. Lightweight and very breathable so I know I'll love them for hiking in the summer. Can't wait to use these out on the trail!

so sad
I have had maybe 14 pairs of the Halle 1, and they were the only pant I've found that fit consistently, even with the small variations in waist size - these Halle 2 pants don't fit me AT ALL, even a full size up, and I'm just so sad, will have to buy all the old ones to have in reserve for when the ones I have left fall apart.

I love how much prAna cares about our planet with how they source and ship their products. I was hoping I would love these pants and they are just an 'eh' for me. For my measurements I am between a 2 and 4 and the 4's were just slightly too big, and i think the 2's would be too tight. I also think a slimmer fit might be better for me as I'm not loving the semi-flared bottoms, but I am enjoying the roll-up snaps. The pockets do seem to be bigger than most woman's pants, but this seems like a no-brainer for tech pants like these. I'll be wearing these pants, but they are not my first pic from the closet, sadly

I love the Halle II pants not only because of the conscious build but also because of the fit! They are easy to move in and great for both work and play. Whether you are in the office or out in the elements these pants hold up to life's adventures and look nice while at it. The fabric is a bit lighter than the older model but holds up equally.

Love the Updated Halle II
- Familiarity:

I have the original Halle which I wasn't a fan of the fabric as it was a bit scratchy. The fit was good with my body - slim hips/waist, short waisted, long legs, 5'5, 119lbs - got a size 2. But the length in the Halle Straight was a wee bit short. Then got these Halle II which a love so much more. The fabric is lighter and softer, yet, durable. The fit is similar, but will a mid rise vs low rise. Still fits well in the hips/butt though girls with a bit curvy figure should be able to wear them as well. I just need to get use to the higher rise. Yes, the front pockets are now deeper and can be used for things other than chapstick (which was another problem with the original version). Can't wait to really put them to the test

I am a loyal Halle Pant follower and get a new color every season. This new sustainable recycled nylon fabric is really nice and I've found it holds up better than others and is stretchier and higher rise (one of my only fall backs to old fit was it was too low). The new updates all just make this pant more comfortable and love it more.

I have been wearing the Halle Pant for years and am so excited about this new version! They feel softer, fit me a little higher in the waist, are still super stretchy and comfy, and best of all, they are now 100% sustainable. Way to go Prana! Not only are these perfect for traveling, climbing, hiking, hanging out in and pretty much anything you can think of doing in them, I feel like I am supporting the environment in a positive way. If you don't have a pair of these yet, or you have the older version, I would highly recommend you get them as soon as possible! They are amazing!
