    PZero Velo Tire

Pirelli's top-end racing tire expertise—developed from over a century of experience—is on full display in the PZero Velo Clincher Tire. Made from Pirelli's SmartNET Silica compound, this tire eliminates the choice between grip or durability by providing both;  Functional Groove Design and Ideal Contour Shaping ensure exceptional wet and dry grip and little rolling resistance, making it easier to hold your line and maintain momentum, while the special aramid fiber puncture-resistance belt located underneath the tread protects the casing from sharp objects on the road. Plus, it features Pirelli's lightning bolt groove design, which comes over from their experience in motorbike racing tire design, to add optimal water drainage at different angles and force loads, while ensuring low noise output and quick warm up times.

    • Grip, durability, and top-shelf handling abound in this road tire
    • Innovative compound delivers minimal rolling resistance
    • FGD and ICS tech provide ideal wet and dry grip
    • Aramid fiber belt delivers protection against punctures

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 25cm

I've put 250 miles on these tires without a flat. I was averaging a flat every 125. Same route better results. I'm happy with the purchase.

    New favorite

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My new go-to 3 season tire. Fast and surprisingly durable. Ran the 28c version front and rear for the majority of 2019 and only had one flat in all that time. I only recently swapped them out for some Panaracer GKs for the Winter and will likely put the Pirelli tires back on in late Spring as there's still lots of tread left.

I only wish these tires had the classic red on yellow Pirelli logo on the sidewall!

great tires. run them at 100 psi. great cornering and handling. very lightweight, and best of all they slipped right on the rim, didn't have to use any profanity at all. i would highly recommend these tires.

    great tire in all conditions

    I am 56 years old, 5' 10

Did you use this tire on both the front & rear? If so, did you use a 700x28 on the rear?
