All that’s fuzzy is cozy.

In the way of comfort, the Penfield Men’s Breakheart Fleece Jacket is about as straightforward as it gets. Starting with the fuzzy fleece fabric, the Breakheart makes a great layering piece under your snow jacket for an extra blanket of warmth or a great standalone on a cool spring day in the city. The cuffs boast an extra stretch to help prevent inside heat from escaping through the sleeves. Plus, thumbholes help keep the sleeves in place while bundling up for frigid temperatures outside or just to help make the chilly steering wheel easier to handle. And the chin-height collar, bringing that fuzzy feeling over your neck, is the best way to stay to fend off wind chill during the cold weather months.

  • A high loft fleece jacket for year-round comfort
  • Fleece offers warmth insulation and next-to-skin softness
  • Stretchy cuffs feature thumbholes to keep sleeves in place
  • Elasticated hem provides a comfortable, warm fit
  • Zippered pockets provide secure, hands-free storage

What is the weight of fabric used in this jacket? Also, what is the weight of a large? Thanks.

Hey there Ben!

Penfield doesn't list the weight of the fleece they are using on this! It isn't an active wear fleece so it won't have the rating you might be thinking of! I would call this a high pile fleece, most likely sits somewhere around 330g! Feel free to contact me directly if you have any further questions or hop on our chat
