Pearl Izumi ELITE Thermal Cycling Tight - Men's

Warmth and comfort coalesce.

Don't suffer from cold, cramped-up legs on cool-weather rides. Instead, slip into the Pearl Izumi Men's Elite Thermal Cycling Tight for added warmth and support. This full-length cycling tight keeps your lower body properly insulated during cool, transitional months, thanks to Pearl's Elite Thermal Fleece fabric throughout. Not only does this outstanding material keep your lower body and legs pleasantly warm, but it also actively wicks perspiration to reduce the cold, clammy feel associated with less-breathable garments.

Integrated with Pearl's Elite 3D chamois, the tights' high-density padding is appreciated on longer hauls and high-intensity rides. This breathable four-way stretch chamois provides a truly custom fit with its pre-shaped, high-density foam. It actively pulls moisture off your body to prevent chafing, while its Pressure Relief Technology enhances comfort by improving bloodflow. Plus, this chamois uses active carbon yarns for improved thermo-regulation and reduced static fatigue.

Other key features include fully articulated legs for unrestricted pedaling motion, as well as 360-degree visibility for extra safety after dark. Moreover, its 8-inch lower leg zip features an internal draft flap that seals out cool air from rushing in.

surprisingly comfy

  • Fit: True to size

size large for my 6 foot height
breaks the wind but breathable
these are my go to tights here in Seattle for winter riding

Love these tights!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are my go-to tights for cool weather down to about 40 degrees, worn them about 6 or 8 times already and they are warm and windproof and comfortable, true to fit. I am 37 waist, 6-1 and 195lbs and ordered the XL. The "elite" pad in them is as good as the pad in the PI "elite" shorts.

Very Nice Thermal Tights

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Worn twice now in 50-ish degrees. Very nice fit, nice feel, not baggy. I am about 6 ft 1 inch, 195 pounds, and the Large size seems fine. Like the bright yellow accents on the ankles.

I was looking for a pant (not bib) with a chamois. This pant fits great and is perfect for cycling in 40 - 50 degree F temperatures.

Good thermal performance

Kept me warm at 38 F. Pearl tend to run small so I usually go up a size for their product. XL fit me fine
