The Paul Components Fixed Word Hub is machined entirely in-house from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum, with a 7075 aluminum axle for the sections that take the most load. The canted flanges and chamfered spoke holes work together to reduce the bending stress at each spoke elbow, a design choice that pays off over thousands of miles on a fixed drivetrain where the rear wheel never coasts. Run it as a dedicated fixed-gear track hub or flip the wheel and thread on a freewheel for street riding, with axle options covering both 135mm bolt-on and 142mm thru-axle frames.
