    Girlfriend's favorite fleece

I got this for my girlfriend as a gift and she loves it. She likes how cozy it is and the relaxed fit. She is 5'10" 145lb and the medium is perfect for her. I think she would wear this every day if she could.

Love this fleece, it is so soft and it fits perfectly

      So warm

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: Medium

I just received this yesterday and I cannot wait to wear it out. I threw it on last night to wear around my apartment and it was very cozy. I felt in-between sizes based on reviews of it being a little large. I went with a medium over a small. It does fit looser, but it will allow for layering. Really lovely colors (nickel/rosewater). Overall, I think I'll get a ton of use out of this, especially during the fall in New England.

      Love it

It is so warm, and comfy! I've gone skiing, Hiking, and camping with it. It runs a little large, but I like it that way.

Its really hard to think of a really original opinion for this fleece, mainly because it is such a solid option for pretty much everyone. You can't really go wrong with the synchilla, unless you're looking for a really form-fitting fleece. I'd check out a another Patagonia fleece if you're not down for the baggy comfort that kinda makes you feel like a marshmellow.

      Great pullover

Chinchilla by day, synchilla by night! Just kidding, great pullover. No complaints!

        A classic.

        • Size Bought: XS

Love this item for the sentimentality of it. This is a patagonia classic! I'm pretty tall and narrow and the body on this is boxy with shorter arms. So expect a lose fit! This isn't a bad thing - just means this is more of a hanging around camping kind of a jacket. I never feel cute in it - more like super super comfy. The fleece is COZY.

        So Very Comfy

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

        • Size Bought: XS and XXS

I have had my eye on this for a long time and finally caved and bought it. I never saw a color I was absolutely in love with, until I saw the Kuta Klash/Shadow Blue. I love the design on it! It looks just like that in person and it adds some design to my wardrobe!

The jacket definitely runs large! I am a size XS and it was really big on me, I returned it and got an XXS, which is still big but I wanted it to be baggy. The sleeves are still a little long, but they will cover my hands when I am cold, and the jacket is still pretty baggy with lots of room under it to layer.

This pullover is super soft and extra comfy because of that! I could live in this all winter long. It is a warm fleece and will definitely keep you warm in any activity. It is great for hanging out, camping, hiking or really anything!

        Exactly as expected

Overall I love the fleece, it's a great bright color (I got the J-Tree color), super cozy and fits well over other layers. I don't think I would necessarily say it runs super large like the other reviews, it's just not a fitted style. I'm 5'3 120 lbs and bought a small, I could easily wear an XS but the S doesn't feel overly loose or baggy, except if I wanted another layer over it. The way it's cut I can't really put a puffy on over it as well, it bunches up to much. The only other drawback for me is that the fleece is very lofty, I'm actually hoping after a few more washes the fabric will thin a bit and hang more rather than being so fluffy.

        • Size Bought: XXS

I love these so much I bought another. The fist size I bought was a XS. It does fit but kindof baggy. I like it for camping and day to day. But this time I bought an XXS for layering under my snowboard jacket. Less bulky and fits under my bibs much better.

Love that! What color is that? Is it the birch white? Is the dark trim and pocket flap black or navy?

        • Size Bought: XL

I'm a fan of this style top from Patagonia. Even though most of their sizes run a bit large, I'm 5'9" tall, broad shoulders, long arms, so I order an XL, which is perfect because the sleeves don't hit me mid forearm, but all the way down. Depends on height and build as to whether one would call size true, too small or too large. They are warm, well made, much heaver than the competition, the name of which I won't mention. I wear one of my many in my collection every day in the winter.

        Runs Large! Very Cozy

BackCountry’s Customer Service was top-notch! I originally ordered a M (I’m 5’2” and 140 lbs- on a good day) and thought the size would be fine, unfortunately it was just too baggy. I chatted with a Gearhead on the website and she processed my return order for me! The newer size S (which fits perfectly- not form fitting, but just loose enough to wear over layers without being bulky) arrived just under an hour ago! I processed both orders this week, so they ship super quickly. The only downside is that the pullover doesn’t have pockets on the waist, but the front chest pocket is large enough to fit some smaller essentials. I can’t wait to wear this on hikes and while camping. Super cozy!

        • Size Bought: XS

I bought an XS. I do like the fit but its a bit bigger than I thought. I will keep the XS but I could have gone to an XXS. .

        LOVE it

Was a bit nervous ordering because i wasn’t used to this website but it came in about 3 days and I love it!!

        Comfy and cute!

        • Size Bought: XXS

Love this sweater, it is super warm and cozy. I got the wish tails pattern and it's really cute. I ordered a size XS at first, but decided to go with an XXS because I wanted it to be shorter and a little more form fitting. For reference I'm an XS in the re-tool snap T sweater which is slim fit, unlike this one which is regular fit. I'm also pretty flat-chested. The XS was great too but very baggy on me!

        Warm but tricky

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit: Runs small

I love the design of my sweater. Glad I ordered a Small vs the normal Medium size that I wear in other clothing brands. But this is not a Fleece sweater, it's 100% polyester. And with that, the lint that is coming off of the sweater is every where! All over my pants, under shirt, car, work chair, etc. Not pleased with that, but after washing it multiple times, lint-rolling, and using spray starch the shedding has stopped.

        Can't fault this product

I own several of of this top, in different colors and designs. I wear them every day during the winter, with layering under. Very warm, well made and a quality garment. For some it may run large. For me, the XL is perfect. I'm 5'9" and 155 lbs, long arms and broad shoulders. I size to the XL in order to get desired sleeve length and to layer under. I could wear L, but just a little too confining for me. Perfect in the XL.
