Worth the money

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These jeans are great for people who want a light to mid-weight, dark wash, polished looking straight-cut jean. They are the perfect inseam for a medium-tall girl and the cut elongates your leg. You can bend over, squat down and stretch comfortably in these jeans without having to readjust them.

Perfect fit

I have a hard time finding jeans that fit, and these were perfect. I am going to buy a second pair, I love them so much.

Bad fit and material.

  • Fit: Runs small

I was excited to try Patagonia jeans. Unfortunately thy were a major failure. First, the fit is bad. Gappy at the waist but tight in the thighs. Also the material is weird. It has a sheen to it that’s odd. I will be returning.

Finally, Jeans I love!

After YEARS of tolerating ill fitting jeans that just never seemed to cover my a** consistently if I so much as dared to move in them, my problems have finally been solved! I am pretty average as far as body type goes (or so I thought-I actually read that the Arc'teryx model is exactly the same size as me 5'6/28" waist...) Anyway, I guess I have bigger thighs (not really I thought but most jeans indicate otherwise) because when I had ACL surgery and my quads severely atrophied, my old crappy jeans fit just fine. Fast forward two years and I have my muscle tone back and those jeans bind up in all the wrong places again.

Anyway, so about these pants, these jeans fit great. They stay on my a** even if I move. I haven't tried climbing in them yet but I totally would with confidence. They are super comfy for traveling. They look good enough for a more casual office environment. I prefer a lower/mid rise jean and these come up just perfect. So I bought another pair. Easy to convince myself to do when they were on sale!!!

My only complaints-come on, I am not short by any standards and in pretty good shape overall but I had to order the short version. Oh well, it's only a small blow to my ego I guess. Also, I wish there were more color options.

Overall stoked on finally finding jeans that look good and I feel good wearing.

These are cute and comfortable. I have a hard time finding jeans and these fit perfectly. I like the dark denim color. The pant legs are a little too long, which I was surprised about as I usually don't have a problem with that at 5'6" with a regular size so keep that in mind. They are a little stretchy, overall very comfortable.

AWESOME BUY

Ok so im 5'9" 125lbs and finding good quality pants are a struggle. But after much search i found these with a 34" inseam and they are perfect! the wash is dark and beautiful and i love them. I went with a size 28 which fits great in the thighs and butt area but they are too big on the waist- so i just need to find a solid belt. Overall I am very happy with these pants and they are a great investment.

Almost perfect

  • Fit: True to size

These are soft and seem durable. A little stretchy, but thicker than prana kara jeans. They run pretty long though. I'm 5'4" size 26 and needed to exchange for the short. They are a little tight in the hips, and gap a bit at the waist, but not so much that it is a deal breaker. I have wide hips and a narrow waist, and these would probably fit a little better on someone with smaller hips.

I was skeptical and they proved me wrong

I was nervous about this pair of jeans working for me, I'm short and super curvy and have always had to spend a ton of money on jeans that flatter. I could not be more stoked on the way these fit me! They're soft, a bit long for someone with a 28" inseam, but I cuff them or wear them with wedges. Definitely, pay attention to the warning about the color transfer and either wash them in cold water before wearing or be ready for the color to transfer onto lighter fabrics.

Great Jean

There must have been a issue when Patagonia started producing these, because I disagree completely with the below reviewers.

The fit is great! They are not as stretchy as their Prana alternative, but seem way more durable. The color is a great deep indigo, which I haven't seem change dramatically since the first couple of washes. They are a great classic jean you can feel good about wearing due to Patagonia's great environmental practices!

    Nice jeans

I like the color and stretch in these jeans a lot. First I ordered the 30x32 and then got another pair in the 30x30 because the 32's are quite long. The only negative to these jeans is that they are short in the waist, so they sit low. Not "hiphuggers" but a little lower than I'd like. They slip down and need to be belted or hiked up to be where I like them. I haven't washed them yet, so I don't know how they'll fade.

Odd fit, warp and woof not aligned

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

As a fan of the Patagonia brand, I had high expectations. They are the most uncomfortable and unflattering $99 jeans I have ever had. The warp and woof is misaligned in on leg, making the grain of the fabric look diagonal instead of straight up and down. This is only noticeable with the pants on. It also makes them a bit pinching with movement. The color has a purple hue that was unexpected. I wanted so badly to love these, very disapointed.
