Do you have a plan to a black bag

      Handy backpack

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this backpack to use in addition to my carryon bag on a trip to Costa Rica in late March. It exceeded my expectations with its interior organization and overall size. The exterior zipper front storage was great for my reading material on the plane. Patagonia quality and thoughtful design,

      basic item

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

i bought 2 weeks ago, i use everyday, every time, every occasion :)
it is bigger than i think !

Maybe best as a gym bag?

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I thought it'd be a good day hike bag but really, the straps are super thin and feel like they couldn't handle much abuse. We'll see how it handles over time. Looks killer though!

      So far so good

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've only used it a few times but it is hear quality and great for daily use

      Daily Grind

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This has been my go-to pack for work for 7 years (have the previous model that is still largely the same as the new version) now and literally comes with me every day and on most work trips too, it holds my 15" MacBook Pro perfectly and has plenty of space for all the other electronics, notebooks, extra layers, lunch, and hydration that I need to keep me going throughout the day. This pack certainly isn't as minimal as some other the other everyday packs out there and arguably has dare I say 'too much' organizational features, but it is great to have all the essentials on hand, like pens, business cards, chargers and all. I have taken this pack on plenty of day hikes/picnics and it has been perfect, the side pockets fit bottles of wine perfectly! I have even found myself in some slot canyons in Southern Utah with this pack and the durable fabric has held up great to the sandpaper rocks of the South. All around a perfect pack for work or school! Will be great for years to come and I couldn't recommend this pack more!

      Great Backpack

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This backpack works really well for day-to-day stuff. There are plenty of pockets to keep everything organized, and it's lightweight so it's very convenient to use. I really like using it for short hikes.

      Great Work Pack

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got this pack to carry my laptop, etc. to and from work. It definitely serves the purpose, and is definitely intended for such use. I will likely keep using the pack for everyday use and travel, but not for heavy abuse in the mountains.

      Seems Great

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Only have used it a few times, but so far it has been a great addition to my packs. Lots of pockets and shows good signs of quality durability.

      superb nice

I didn't expect this backpack but actually this bag is so nice light and casual and it's not trendy so I can bring anytime anywhere

        Great Backpack

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This backpack is great for my everyday use. My computer fits in it well and it has sufficient other space for my other necessary gear.

buy it. This backpack is very nice. Further, its design is very trendy. I can use it as backpack for university lifes. The quality was excellent.

          Poor Quality for Price!

          • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This product is not recommended. It has many flaws, poor construction for the price, and pictures that don't represent the color well. They also make you pay for the return. Steer clear!

          Unanswered Question

Is this backpack for women? I am short in the torso and can only use backpacks cut for a woman's shape

When will it be restocked in black color?

Thanks for asking! So I just checked our vendor order, and it looks like we have some expected to come in at the end of the month of May. Keep in mind that this could change, but as of now that is when the order is supposed to come in.

          Great daypack for city trips.

          • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got this pack as a gift for my dad. He constantly commutes to NYC on the weekends and this pack has held up through multiple excursions so far this winter. He says the straps are super comfy and supportive, and that the interior is more roomy than you'd expect, with plenty of space for his jackets, lunch, gloves, and camera. He's a big fan.

nice backpack for every day use...

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

i like it so far for every day use. but i found out it kind of is not big enough to put bigger laptops like 15 inches. otherwise, i like it and would recommend to my friends.

          Solid pack

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this pack for my daughter to use for school. The multiple compartments is great to separate her laptop from her books. It is also a great size, not as huge as some packs that things get lost, yet big enough to carry what is needed.

          Decent, but not technical

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

(For last year's model, although a lot of the features are the same)
A pretty decent backpack for everyday use, but it fails when trying to use it for any long amount of time.
The pockets are large enough to hold a decent amount of stuff, but my 17" laptop barely fits in the pack pocket. The cup holders on the side are decent too, but are a little short and can solidly hold tall bottles.
Within the first year of use, both the chest strap and one of the adjustment buckles broke, but Patagonia replaced them both for free.
All around, a decent backpack that I use everyday, but for any kind of longer trip or heavier load, I pick up something else.

          How to Measure:
-Have a friend locate the bony bump at the base of your neck, where the slope of your shoulder meets your neck. This is your 7th cervical vertebra (C7). Tilt your head forward to locate it more easily. This is the top of your torso length.
-Place your hands on top of your hips bones, with fingers point forward, thumbs in back. This it eh "shelf" on which your pack will rest. The middle of an imaginary line drawn between your thumbs is the bottom of your torso length.
-Using the tape measure, your friend should measure the distance between the C7 and the imaginary line between your thumbs. Be sure you stand up straight when being measured. You know should have your torso length.
Measure around your waist just above your hips.
