  • Left chest pocket
  • Straight hem
  • Side vents

Very Breathable Button-Up

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

This is a great button up, the breathability is great, making it one of my regulars during really warm weather, great as an everyday shirt or works well when going out to dinner as well. It is a slim fitting shirt so keep that in mind if that style doesn't suit you. Overall I find it very comfortable and there are range of great color options.

Free Air Conditioning

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L

Like many of the other Patagonia Button Down Short-Sleeve Shirts, this shirt breathes really well, which is nice when you live in the desert. The shirt also fits well, is of the quality Patagonia is known for, a looks really great. Wearable in just about any situation.

Good to go everywhere

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Can wear this shirt to work, bar, bbq, etc. It looks casual enough to toss on and head out for some weekend fun, but also nice enough to wear out to dinner.

Favorite Feature - No Iron Required

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

Snazzy design aside, my favorite feature by far is the fact these don't need an iron. The material is causal, and textured in a way that makes an iron unnecessary. Typically it takes me 10 minutes to iron a dress shirt for work, but on casual days I can just throw this baby on and hit the road.

I agree with Thomas Hamilton that these shirts are light, comfy, wash well, and dry quickly too.

Great shirt

Durable fabric and classy pattern; very comfortable and try fit to form.

    Feels Like Summer

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

These shirts are a summer must. The material is light, comfy, and washes really well. The fitting of the shirt is spot on and looks great in all the right places. If this shirt gets wet it drys fairly quick and doesn't hold stink if you are going to wear it on the river. It's stylin' while remaining quite casual.

    Great Everyday Shirts!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I have been wearring these shirts for 11 years now and they have become the only short sleeve button down shirts I wear and own. I actually still regularly wear the one I bought 11 years ago and it shows very little wear. I will say that these shirts are more boxy than some of the more modern fitting button down shirts out there, but they are very comfortable and look great. The best thing about these shirts is that they are basically wrinkle free. Pull it out of the dryer or off the clothes line and you're good to go!

    Outstanding Shirt!

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L

Patagonia just makes great products that they stand behind and it's a pleasure dealing with Backcountry too. It's a gift so this Saturday I will no what he thinks about it...

    Run very very large

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: large

I'm a 44 inch chest and the large version of this shirt fits like I'm a kid trying on his dad's t-shirts. If you're going for the super baggy look, then ya, it fits 'true to size'...but if you want something to fit normally then definitely go a size down from what you normally where. Otherwise they seem to be pretty quality shirts.

    The Puckerware's are favorites!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I bought a round of these shirts for my Dad and then picked up some for myself. Great to wear around town, into the office or on a river/drift boat. Outstanding travel shirt as you can simply wash it in a sink, air dry overnight and throw on the next day and it looks like new. Patagonia shirts are durable and the buttons hold up to abuse. Pretty simple all purpose shirt that repels stains from those late night taco cart ventures to normal wear and tear. Love em!

    Great summer shirt!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

These shirts wash great and always look good straight out of the dryer. Never need an iron! In hot weather I wear them with no undershirt and they do their job of laying mostly above your skin to help you stay cool while active. These shirts work good for hiking and bicycling. They also fit right in at just about any restaurant. Perfect for travel. The only problem is I can't seem to stop buying them.

    Cool

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL

I live full time in Central Florida, Puckerware for me are the shirts to wear. I have 4

    Great shirt

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

Versatile shirt that can be worn to the office to impress the boss, to the stream to wet a line, and to the bar for some laughs. Care is easy and the colors and fit are great. Highly recommend.

    Awesome shirt!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I wear it to the office and just chillaxing, great in hot humid weather. Quickly becoming my favorite shirt!!!

    Pleasantly Surprised

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. I don't really do patterns and plads but this shirt (Heave To) is very mellow. I really liked it. And the fabric is light so it's great for kickin it around the house or out on the trail.

    Favorite shirt

I'm a sucker for Patagonia and this shirt didn't disappoint. Light textured fabric keeps you very cool in the summer heat. And I don't own an iron so this shirt is perfect, never wrinkles. I am 6'2" ~180 and the Large fits great.

      Best Shirt for Bali

Took this shirt along for a ride on scooters, across jungles and into the wilds of Indonesia last year. Kept me cool in the hottest and most humid of conditions, never had to iron it once and it didn't even get smelly after weeks of use. Looks casual with a board under your arm or nice with a glass of wine at a candle light dinner.

        Killer short sleeve button up

Love the weight and feel of this shirt. It is lightweight, and has a unique texture to the fabric. Breathes well for spring/summer months. Can be dressed up with cords and a belt, or worn casual untucked with shorts while hanging out. I'm 5'9" 180 and the Medium fits me perfectly.

2013 XL regular fit sizing way off

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I just received three of the 2013 Puckerware shirts, in XL regular fit, and someone messed up the cut of the material for the arms this year. If you measure the edge of the arm sleeve it's almost two inches less than last years XL regular fit version which fit great for a person with an athletic build like myself. It's very noticeable when you put the shirt on, tight in the shoulder area, and uncomfortable. The angle of the arm sleeve is also about 10 degrees off last years. The 2011 and 2012 XL regular fit match up exactly when place over one another. The 2013 of the same size isn't even close. I noticed that this year's 2013 Puckerware was made in Sri Lanka, where the 2011 and 2012 versions were made in Thailand. It's really

surprising that a mistake this bad could be made for a high quality shirt like this.

With such a great color selection this year it's sad to me that I'm going to have to

send these back. The '09, '10, '11 and '12 Puckerware shirts all fit great.
