Patagonia engineered this layer with 60g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco—made from 100% postconsumer recycled polyester using reduced-emission P.U.R.E.™ technology—delivering impressive heat retention even when wet.

The 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell and lining are treated with a PFAS-free DWR finish to shed light rain and block wind without harming the environment. A brick quilting pattern keeps the insulation in place and adds long-term durability. We especially love the packability—it stuffs neatly into its own chest pocket so it’s always ready to travel. With thoughtful features like a drop-tail hem, internal storm flap, and secure zip pockets, the Nano Puff keeps us warm and protected from trail to tarmac.
