Warmth without weight.

Every gram counts against you when you trek into the alpine for skiing and climbing trips, so be sure to have the Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Bivy Insulated Pullover packed away. This ultralight puffy uses Primaloft Gold Eco insulation to give the touch of warmth needed for active endeavors in cold places, and it's so compressible the jacket stows inside the front pocket for compact convenience on your harness or in your pack. Patagonia treated the pullover's tough, recycled ripstop shell to shed snowflakes and raindrops. The Nano's hood fits under helmets with ease, and the adjustable hem stays secure under harnesses.

YAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Super soft
Super warm
Not too hot and not too cold
could wear it everywhere
great mid-layer when up on the mountain

never take it off

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I gave this as a gift and this is what the recipient had to say:

Wear this jacket just about every day. Great for throwing on when you go out the door to head to work, but also as a layer under your shell while snowboarding. It packs up small to fit in my touring or fishing pack too. Whether I’m at work, the bar, camping or the ski resort I’m usually wearing this. The front pocket is super convenient, most mornings it is normally storing a breakfast sandwich

Wear Everywhere!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

This is one of the most versatile jackets ever, the reason I have two of them. It is great at blocking wind, shedding light precip and has just the right amount of insulation to almost never need to take off. It's a great summer backpacking jacket and then becomes my winter midlayer in December. You won't regret getting one of these.

Light weight and warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Bought 3 if that says anything...
Very light weight and warm...Keeps the wind out perfectly...easy on and off...the hood is Amazing it forms around head and zips up over mouth to avoid blowing off.....my Boys Love this jacket!

Best pullover

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

"This bivy is warmer than most 650 weight down jackets I have worn. I love the quarter zip pullover version of the nano puff and the light weight fit. This works great as a top layer going out to town or as a mid layer when skiing. Absolutely recommend this bivy"

Best Pullover

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

This jacket is now my favorite pullover. I wear this jacket almost everyday. It keeps me warm but is also good for a casual day.

5 stars

Best jacket in the Nano series, I love the pullover.

    Great Everyday Jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

This is the perfect versatile jacket for year round activities- camping, skiing, climbing, or just to wear around day-to-day. Pockets are awesome, as is the jackets light weight, and packability.

    Immediatly became my go-to jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

It’s warm outside in the cold without being too warm when you walk inside, It’s fairly water repellent, it’s comfy, it fits well, and it looks good. It’s nice that it’s not too bulky and that it packs into its own pocket. I’ve been wanting one for a while and I’m so glad I finally bought one. I couldn’t be happier with it.

I really like this jacket. I've been wearing it around town here in MT and climbing. The fabric appears to be pretty abrasion resistant so far, so you don't have to be afraid of ripping it on rock. Definitely wait for it to go on sale (as with most Patagonia stuff), but I'd recommend it.

    Jack of all Trades Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

This is my absoloute favorite jacket to wear day to day in any fall or spring temps, and an essential in my snowsports layer system. One of my favorite things about this jacket is that it is increadibly warm even when it is wet, so if theres a chance of rain in the forcast, you can be confident it will still insulate.

This jacket is almost as warm as 600 fill down, but not quite, so not the best stand alone jacket in really cold temps.

I've had this jacket for years and I have 0 complaints and recomend it to everyone! I have long arms, and a large covered them perfectly! Not too baggy.

    Goes everywhere with me

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

This thing goes everywhere with me -- it crushes down to almost nothing (and can conveniently be used as a pillow when packed into its zipper pocket) and breathes enough to be useful in a pretty wide range of temperatures. I've used it mountaineering, backpacking, skiing, hiking and in the cold conference room at work. The fit seems true to size and is incredibly comfortable. This might actually be my favorite piece of clothing.

    Awesome Pullover

    • Size Bought: Large

Great day-to-day jacket, I use it year-round. Great fit and finish, durable and fits true to size. Also great as a base layer in the winter sliding down the hill. Highly recommend!

    Awesome jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

Love this jacket. Some say that is runs small, however I think it fits true to size. I purchased a Large which is what I would normally wear and it fits perfect. Very lightweight yet very warm. Makes for the perfect base layer when snowboarding. This jacket is also great for casual wear around the city or wearing it out to the bar

    Another Nano Puff win

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs small

It's no secret how much I love Nano puffs. I will tell every single human that i come in contact with how much i love them. I have been wanting the women's version of this pull over ever since they came out. HOWEVER, I put my selfishness aside and bought one for my dad as a gift instead. Now i'm jealous and want one even more. it is AWESOME. Multiple pockets and amazing light weight warmth. My dad is usually a size small but he actually fit in the size medium. Whether it's because of layering or because Patagonia may have switched up sizing a bit, not sure! He is usually a size small though across the board. I would recommend sizing up.

    Great jacket with solid mobility

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

Great jacket that goes everywhere from climbing outdoors, to wearing out to the bar. Perfect almost year round for a Northern California Climate.

So far so good! Had to size up....

The sizing for this Pullover is a bit weird, had to go up a size as the inner stitching was more snug then the outer stitched layer. This made layering difficult. Usually regular fit doesn’t feel like a slim fitment.

      Comfortable and Warm

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

I love this pullover insulator, it keeps me warm and the packs away like a champ.

I always bring this with me into the backcountry, wear it under my shell skiing at the resort, and even wear it around town when I need to stay warm. The hood and kangaroo pocket are my favorite features, both stylish and functional.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding fit or sizing, I am happy to help out.

Love! Wear it all the time!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: small

I love this coat! I bought the mens version because I have broad shoulders and it is perfect! The only thing about it that isnt my favorite is that by its self it not super warm, but it is a great layer! I have had it for months now and have worn it between 3 and 5 times a week and it is a bit dirty but completely tear free and stain free! Weather out backcountry skiing, climbing on a chilly day or just waering out and about it is a staple!
-Side note a mens might not work for women who have a larger bust.

      Nice style but slim Fitment.

Great concept but if your into cross fit and have muscles this jacket may be a tad bit tight around chest and arms.

"If you're* into Crossfit," because thats that only way it could be too small? Weird brag dude.
