Patagonia Nano-Air Insulated Vest - Men's

Light, warm, stretchy, and breathable. Questions?

Maybe the sun's shining or maybe the mercury's dropping, but either way you'll dig the lightweight and breathable warmth of the Patagonia Nano-Air Men's Insulated Vest. It's designed for aerobic stop-and-go activities—climbing, skiing, alpine adventures. It sports a stretchy nylon ripstop shell, tough nylon lining, and super-flexible FullRange synthetic insulation. You'll be able to flow through the mountains like water, while the DWR coating prevents moisture from creeping in, and the insulation supplies a super-breathable layer that'll help you stay even drier. Two dual-adjustable hem drawcords keep heat from sneaking out the bottom, and the low-profile pockets keep your fingers warm and your phone safe.

  • Stretchy nylon ripstop shell with a DWR coating
  • 50D nylon lining
  • 60g FullRange synthetic insulation
  • Stretch armhole binding and dual-adjustable hem drawcord
  • Two hand pockets and one chest pocket

So Close

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

Materials, features, and details are spot on. Ended up returning it anyway. I'm a medium in pretty much everything Patagonia, and found the medium to be smaller than expected. Tried the large, but it was true to size. Seems like a fantastic product, as long as the sizing works for you.

My other Tour Buddy

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I never ski tour without the nano vest. The synthetic insulation keep you warm even if you've sweated through it, but still packs up easily into the backpack. The outer material is tough enough to shuck willows without tearing but still incredibly light and even repels water a bit with the DWR treatment. The fit is athletic without being form fitting.

I'm same size as you. What size do you wear?

I went with a large, which is a more athletic fit, but I can still get it over a light shell. An Xl might be too big.

Styling with my Nano

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Been wanting a vest in my gear Arsenal and finally pulled the trigger on this bad boy. Super stylish and keeps your trunk warm and comfy! Have had nothing but positive compliments since I've worn it. Nano-Air products are some of Patagonia's best offerings and getting it @ the end of the season sale for a super low price was too good to pass up! Backcountry got it to me super fast! Goatworthy!!

Great Vest!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I own a number of different Patagonia vests. This one is my favorite. I love the warmth in such a light weight. And yet it's still very breathable. I've worn it on the slopes and in the office with no complaints.

Fit Was Strange

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Large

I found the fit to be very strange. I am usually between a L and M. I bought the L and it was fine around the shoulders, but way too big through the torso. I tried on a M and it was too tight. I then tried out the Nano Puff vest and the L fit like normal Patagonia gear. Be sure you try it on!

Best Vest Ever! But Really

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: large

This vest is the most comfortable article of clothing I have. It keep you warm but is very breathable. Ask my girlfriend I have a hard time not wearing it every day. Great for skiing, hiking and even formal enough to wear to the office. Hands down best vest out there.
