Best Bib Liner out there!

Love this Bib Liner. Yes it's sheer or the side of the quad's, it's a great way to stay cool with your MTB shorts over the top! I have tried soo many brands of bib liners, these are the best in my opinion. The chamois is great not to chunky & the material that the shoulder's straps are made of are soft & comfortable. The best part is the pocket at the back. It sits just low enough for you to be able to reach behind you & pull stuff (extra water bottle) out. Some bib liners the back pocket sit's to high you can't get to your stuff without getting the bike. I even cut a small slit in the fabric either side of the bigger pocket, so I have 2 small hip pockets. I put a light multitool in one & my airpods case in the other. In the bigger pocket I keep my phone & an extra bottle & have never had an issue with them creeping out. The drop seat is a plus, but you may want to take your things out of the back pockets when doing this. I love that my shirts & tanks don't have to have pockets (so many don't these days) & I don't have to use a hip pack for rides up to 3 hours. I don't like to carry much when I'm riding & these are my go.

Good padding, some parts uncomfortable

The chamois in these is great, and the drop waist design is also useful. I'm not sure how useful the pocket on the back is, since you'd have a jersey on over these. I guess if you're looking for any extra storage possible it would be useful. I haven't ever used it, though. I get that these are liners, but they are VERY sheer, something I should have paid more attention to before buying. My 3 stars isn't due to this; that was my own fault. What I don't like about them is the seam around your thighs where the grippy band meets the shorts. I got what felt like paper cuts from these seams both after biking in wet conditions and after a really long, sweaty ride. I was so confused why I had these stinging red lines across my thighs, then I felt the seams and they were Sharp. No idea why they'd be made to feel like that. My first thought was that my thighs were too big for the size, but when I put them on nothing feels too tight. Updating to 4 stars after using these over the past year. The weird seam paper cuts that I was getting went away after 3-5 uses (hard to remember by now) and now I love wearing these bibs. Still really unfortunate and weird that they did that when they were new.
