Dirt Roamer Bike Shorts built for long climbs, fast descents, and all-day comfort

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve put these through everything from hot, exposed climbs to all-day backcountry rides, and what stands out is how little I notice them once I’m moving. The fabric breathes exceptionally well, the stretch never binds when you’re out of the saddle, and the waistband stays put without needing mid-ride adjustments."

We head out early when the air is still cool, knowing the climbs will heat up fast and the descents won’t wait. The Dirt Roamer Bike Shorts are the kind of layer we forget about once the ride settles in, letting us focus on line choice, rhythm, and the trail ahead instead of how our gear feels. They move easily through long pedals and technical sections, never feeling heavy or restrictive as the miles stack up.

As the day stretches on and the terrain changes, the lightweight fabric keeps air moving and dries quickly after hard efforts. We trust the longer inseam for coverage without bulk, and the clean, low-profile design feels just as right grabbing food post-ride as it does charging singletrack. These are the shorts we reach for when the plan is simple: ride hard, stay comfortable, and keep going.

The search is over !

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Superlight, breathable, perfect length and 2 zippered pockets. I wear these for everything in the summer and they are as comfy as board shorts !

Pretty Decent Shorts, but...

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Pros: Lightweight and minimalist Good length Fast drying Comfortable Cons I little wider in the legs than I would have hoped. Because of the minimal nature I have trouble with the waist band rolling over Ultra minimal adjustment straps are difficult to get tight enough. Pretty high waisted, which puts the tiny fly ay an unusable height. Overall good shorts and pretty high in my rotation with some fit and execution issues

Lightweight and long

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

My husband loves these pants. They have a slim-ish cut for his frame (athletic) and are long enough to overlap with knee pads, and not leave that awkward gap. They're lightweight, and ideal for hot summer riding. They have a side pocket down your leg, but isn't a typical pocket setup. The internal belt system is a little fiddly, but not too hard to adjust. Overall, he loves them!
