What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I rely on this shirt when I want one layer that can handle everything. It’s light enough for trail runs, comfortable on the water, and dries fast once I’m done. The Polygiene treatment really helps on multi-activity days, and the stretch keeps it feeling natural no matter how hard I’m moving."
We grab the Capilene Cool Daily Graphic Long-Sleeve Shirt when summer days are packed with movement and changing conditions. Patagonia designed this do-it-all layer to keep us cool and comfortable whether we’re paddling out in the morning or heading straight to a trail run in the afternoon. It feels airy against the skin and never bogs us down when the pace picks up.
The recycled polyester fabric excels at moisture management, wicking sweat and drying quickly to keep us comfortable through heat and humidity. Built-in stretch supports a full range of motion, while a Polygiene anti-odor treatment helps keep things fresh after long, sweaty efforts, making this shirt a dependable staple for warm-weather adventures.

Different than other Capiline Cool products
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I LOVE Patagonia’s Capiline Cool line of shirts so thought this would be the same. I’m sure it’s in the description somewhere how this one is different but I missed it. This one is a much scratchier material - not the super comfortable and smooth material in all of my other Capiline Cool shirts and long sleeves. This one is also much longer so it either sticks out or needs to be tucked in.

Too small
Size is Too small. The actual color looks not good. I don't really like it.

Great for outdoor use
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I hesitated to buy this because it’s made of polyester and has a large logo on the back. I was pleasantly surprised how cool it is while still offering sun protection. Odor is under control as well. It is my go to shirt for hiking and cycling.

So soft! Love the Sunfade Pink color
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've been eyeing these shirts for a while but the color/print was never my style until I saw the Sunfade Pink! I've only worn it as a casual shirt so far but I savor it when I do because the fabric is so soft. Sometimes the Patagonia Capilene Cool shirts with similar material get smelly easily; I haven't encountered it with this product yet but I haven't sweat much in it yet :)

So soft & so comfortable!
What a great shirt! It was so soft and so comfortable to wear. It kept me dry during my hike. The weather was a little cool but the shirt did it’s thing. It was a perfect shirt for what I needed it for and I really like the color.
