Why We Like The Baby Snow Pile One-Piece Snow Suit

You're sure that your little one is going to be one heck of a powder hound one day, but right now the snow is taller than they are, and they're not too good at that whole "standing" thing yet. To keep them toasty and dry in winter weather grab the Patagonia Baby Snow Pile One-Piece Snow Suit. It's outfitted with a waterproof H2No shell and super-warm Thermogreen insulation, ensuring that they can take their first hobbling steps through the snow without worrying about being soaked and cold. The one-piece coverage extends to a removable hood, while partially elasticized leg and arm cuffs fit over boots and mitts to keep the snow at bay. And if you're worried about them outgrowing the suit next season, it's got a grow-fit feature that adds two inches on the legs and sleeves, so they'll still be covered when they've got their legs under them a little more.

  • A one-piece snow suit for your up-and-coming Arctic explorer
  • H2No shell locks out wet snow to keep them dry and fuss-free
  • Synthetic insulation stays warm even when things get wet
  • Fully taped seams prevent moisture from penetrating key areas
  • Reflective details keep them visible in the dark and poor conditions
  • Stretchy cuffs fit over boots and mitts to keep the snow out
  • Grow-fit features accommodate growth-spurts for winters to come

Holes bursting at seams

Started out loving this snowsuit, and we actually bought one for each of our children because we were so pleased with the waterproof factor and warmth (they never complain of being cold, and clothes are always dry after hours outdoors!). Our son is on the slender side and it was so refreshing to find a snowsuit that fit him, and wasn't outrageously bulky. He can totally move in it and run and it's fitted - a dream come through for a skinny child. I really appreciate the elastic at the cuffs. Unfortunately, after only 1.5 seasons, both snowsuits have started to wear out so badly the seems are bursting open, and the insulation is now exposed. I contacted Patagonia and I was directed I would pay to ship the snowsuit to the USA (we live in Ontario, Canada), for them to assess and potentially repair. I then called the Toronto location (still an hour away from us), and the Customer Service was much better; however, again advised I would need to bring the item in, and it would be sent out for repairs for potentially weeks. Seeing as it's winter in Ontario, and temperatures are below freezing, there is no way I can send both our snowsuits out for repairs for weeks. I opted to order Gortex Fabric Patches (tenacious tape as directed by Patagonia) and after only one use they are starting to peel. I have photos to prove the gaping holes in the snowsuit. Feeling deflated.
