Highly recommended!
I picked-up the Tungsten Jacket and Pants at the beginning of this season and have skied about 200,000 vertical feet in them. This is the best alpine outerwear I've ever owned! Just the right amount of insulation, durable, waterproof, pockets and vents where you want them, and very comfortable. I've worn this kit in sub-zero temps, heavy snow, rain, and sunshine. I was comfortable and dry across a huge range of conditions. Highly recommended gear for alpine skiing!

Solid Ski Jacket
I have used this jacket primarily as a ski jacket and it's performed flawlessly in temperatures from 0-40 degrees. The pit zips allow you to thermoregulate on those warmer runs and the goretex provides a great barrier to the elements, especially wind. So good, I bought one for my wife and she loves it too.

Great jacket!
Great jacket - I love this one. Great for the 2021-2022 Seattle winter, with its mix of snow days, rain and foggy mist. Be warned, it does run warm - I just use less layering!

Great Jacket
It's a great jacket to wear in any condition! Wore it when it was 30-40 and it kept me warm with just a t-shirt underneath. Also wore it when it was 10 and windy with a light layer under it and was perfectly warm!

Just what I wanted
Perfectly dialed in for resort skiing, just had them out on a cold day at Whistler. I don't need ultralight gear, I want a jacket that will last and keep me warm and dry. As good as it gets. I also appreciate that this does not fit like a tent, trim and nothing flaps in the slipstream. Only wish is that the hood would zip off.

Excellent Jacket - Noticeably Improved from Older OR
I'm very impressed with this jacket, and with the warranty and customer support by Outdoor Research. I've been wearing an OR hardshell Axcess jacket for the past ~12 years, and just recently, the zipper attachment fabric failed. I contacted Outdoor Research and they covered the issue under warranty and gave me full credit toward a new jacket. Nice! Now that I have this Tungsten jacket, I can really tell OR has been improving their products over the past decade. This jacket feels much lighter, even though it is just as warm as my previous jacket. I also notice that this jacket's shell material feels more flexible and soft, which makes the jacket very comfortable to wear, and makes movement feel more free and unrestricted. Two thumbs up.

Almost Perfect
6'3", 275lbs, regular snowboarder. Purchased XXL Overall I'm impressed with the jacket. I put seven days on it wearing it out in Breckenridge. Weather ranged from high 20's to low 40's, 12" of powder. The vents were a lifesaver and kept me cool when the temps rose. Most of the time I only wore a long sleeve shirt under it and utilized the vents to moderate climate control. The pockets are reasonable and accessible. Wouldn't mind a seconds sleeve pocket on the opposite. As far as sizing goes, I general purchase XL, but went XXL. I would say if youre my size or smaller you could probably get away with XL. The sleeves are very long on me, which causes some over heating on the wrists but is manageable. The hood clip doesn't have any practically advantage as its doesn't work. I might modify with a clip with a gate. I love the high collar. Blocks wind, as with the rest of the jacket. Water proofing was acceptable. One downside of the inner collar is the protective fleece that covers the zipper folds to my right and you constantly fight with it as a regular stance snowboarder. As a skier this probably wont be an issue. I like the design and think its a great overall jacket which provides a little bit of insulation. I would definitely buy again, might size down next time.

Feature Rich Jacket
I really like almost everything about it. We hike in the PNW a lot and I wanted something waterproof and warm. The size Large fits great on me at 5' 10", 170lbs. The only real issue I have is the main front double-zipper, I struggle with it. Both getting it started to zip up and once I have zipped it down, I struggle getting both of the zipper heads to separate from the other side. It did get a little frustrating a couple times messing with it so much. It could very well be me and my ability to work said double-zipper in the first place though.
