Perfect if you want a trucker style cap that fits more like a ball cap.

I don't like the huge trucker caps that sit like a ten gallon hat with giant, structured peaks.

This hat fits flush against the top of your head. Light weight and cozy. There's a partial, more solid, mesh that goes halfway up the front to pull the hat away from your forehead just a smidge. It helps with air flow on hot days. It's designed as a flap and could easily be cut out without damaging the hat at all if that's your preference.
Keep in mind that the bill will not hold any curve. It doesn't form, but that comes with the benefit of it never deforming. The bill is soft and doesn't sit there like a traditional flat bill.
Runs a bit small but still fits my big head comfortably. Fits my wife's tiny head comfortably, too. Great one size design.
Loving this hat! Might buy another.

I've been jammin in the OR Performance Trail hat for a few hundred miles now, and I had to get a second color! My favorite things about this OR hat is that the brim is softer and more flexible than a regular trucker, but still holds in place while you run (unlike those other dorky runner hats). The softer materials make the hat perfect for packing away on trips, and the reinforced inside material quickly put it back to shape when ready for adventure. I also really like how quick the hat dries, and doesn't seem to retain odor like many other hats I've used.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because I'm still waiting for OR to design a hat that will never show sweat marks! It's not a huge deal with this hat though because I'll just dip it in a creek and it's as good as new.
