Let the weather do its thing while you do yours.
Bipolar weather might make you think twice about going out for a trail run, but there's no need to change you plans just because the storm can't make up its mind; just slip into the Outdoor Research Women's Tantrum Hooded Jacket and be ready for whatever happens out there. The Tantrum is made with a wind- and water-resistant ripstop nylon that's breathable and quick drying, so you can keep your heart rate up whether its cold and cloudy, lightly raining, or partly sunny. And when the weather does decide to cooperate, the Tantrum can be stuffed inside its own lower pack pocket for easy carrying, so you won't feel tempted to stash it along the side of the trail.

- Q & A
Great color, super fabric
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: medium
I wore this running in wet 30 degree weather and it provided plenty of protection. But better yet, it is a great color and the fabric and construction are superb. It's very light weight. I agree that this fits best for an athletic body type..
Hikers & trail runners will love it.
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Large
Well, I didn't keep it, but I think some people might really like it. Great for hands free use! The fabric is stretchy and it stuffs into its own pocket which has a waistcord. Remember back in the day when you wore a jacket and had to tie it around your waist using the sleeves? Those days are over! It looks like a fanny pack at that point. Serious hikers will love it. Casual city slickers like me who just want a light jacket will find that the waistcord is a lumpy bump right over your butt which cannot be rmoved because it's sewn in. Also, this is slim fit, which is depressing because I have to size up and then the sleeves are way too long. No one thinks of petite height women enjoying the outdoorsy gear. In any case, the color was beautiful. But if you want something same stretchy fabric but without the back pocket bump, I think the Patagonia Houdini is better. The arms were perfect and left alot of room for movement, but the body was tighter than I wanted.
Light Weight and Beautiful Color

I was looking for a red jacket for a while until i saw this one. Color is vibrant and looks great. Great for hiking.
Is there a size guide available for this jacket? Description says a slim fit, but not sure what that means. Can you provide a bust measurement for the medium and large size? Thank you.
