Refuge Hybrid Hooded Jacket

The Outdoor Research Women's Refuge Hybrid Hooded Jacket is an insulated midlayer made for hikers, climbers, and backcountry skiers. Its hybrid construction consists of an insulated body for warmth, while stretch-woven fabric grants the sleeves, sides, and hood better mobility on the mountain. The entire piece is water- and wind-resistant for light protection from weather while you make your ascent, and the trim fit is ideal for layering a hard shell when it's time for the descent.

  • Hybrid insulator designed for hiking, climbing, and skiing
  • Body insulated synthetically to stay warm when wet
  • Stretch-woven sleeves, sides, and hood for better mobility
  • Water- and wind-resistant against light snowfall and moisture
  • Adjustable hem and Low-Pro Binding cuffs and hood secure the fit
  • Left hand pocket doubles as stuff sack

Sizing off

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Small

This jacket was exactly what I was looking for but the sizing is way off, not at all consistent with other OR items I’ve owned. I’m 5’2 and around 120 lbs and the small was way too big for me. Sadly Backcountry does not have any XS in stock. I’m always an XS in OR pants but I’ve always been small or even medium in tops. So bummed because this product seems to be of high quality construction and exactly what I was looking for.
