Why We Like The Juneau Fleece Hooded Jacket
When the air starts to feel like a walk-in freezer, we zip into the Juneau to heat things up. Lined with pillowy double-brushed sherpa, this jacket packs an ultrasoft punch of warmth, making sure our core keeps feeding our fingertips as we set up camp. The burly exterior fights off overreaching branches and weakens the force of summit winds on our sunrise trek. We slip the hood over our beanie and slide our hands into the side pockets for extra coverage as we watch the sky explode in kaleidoscopic wonder.

Thick and cozy
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I read alot of reviews that this fleece runs big. To the contrary I believe it fits perfet. I'm a medium and it is right on par with my most of my jackets. It's super warm and comfortable but a bit heavy. Although I've noticed its not very wind proof, this is a benefit when you are exerting yourself and don't want to get too sweaty. Bring a light shell along for windy days and this is a solid mid/outer layer.

It pills
A quality material should not pill, especially not expected from such a well respected brand. It means that other clothing (the shirt I wear) becomes "infected" with fleece particles, whilst it shouldn't.

Best Fleece Jacket!
Best fleece jacket ever! I have 2 and it's warm. My favorite outdoor brand for quality. Love the "OR" logo because I'm from Oregon.

Warm and durable
I wear this under my company issued parka on the coldest days on the mountain. It insulates better than down or synthetics because it doesnt compress. Its great as a jacket alone as well. I typically wear an XL, but in this jacket the L fit best, the hood is too small to pull over a ski helmet. I would recommend trying this on in person before purchasing.

Way too baggy
Wished it fit better because I loved it otherwise, but was so baggy I decided to return it. It's extremely comfortable, seemed to be made well, and was very warm. Unfortunately, it felt like a parachute and got in the way at times. I'm 5 10" with an athletic build and normally fit perfectly in mediums, but this fit an entire size bigger. I did see this was a "relaxed" fit, but it might as well have been a whole different size (why not just size them normally??). Anyway, if you're into a baggier fit or ok getting a smaller size, it seems to be a great jacket and I would have kept it had it been smaller.

Worst sizing in the world
Ordered a mens small, almost fit my dad who wears an XL. Super Boxy, absolutely no form at all from base of pits to waist cinches. Ended up giving it to a friend that wears a large and it fit him perfectly. 1/10 would not recommend

Warm and Bulky
This is a burly, thick fleece. Great for cold Denver winter but a bit heavy and too bulky to wear under another jacket. Still love the comfort and feel on the cold days and nights.

Excellent
Excellent quality, excellent performance. just enough insulation to make it through truly cold outings, but with great ventilation.

Very nice Sherpa
I live in Cleveland, OH and we have some pretty unpredictable weather. Almost everyone thinks that about where they live but just saying Cleveland will make people think about cold. I wanted some gear for those extra cool days in late fall or the evenings in early fall around a fire. This is perfect! Generous fit so it has plenty of room for layers but also extra comfy and warm on its own. Highly recommend for this type of casual use.
