- Q & A
Super light and waterproof!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
The OR Helium Traveler Jacket makes the perfect travel jacket, it packs up tiny and does a great job shedding the rain. The jackets fits long over hips, would suggest sizing up if you have hips.
Looks great, but sizing is too small
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Large
I love that it doesn't hardly weigh anything at all and looks very well constructed. But maybe my mistake was to order something slightly tapered at the waist. I do have a bit of a tummy, but I thought that ordering a large would do it (I usually order medium). Well, it fits actually a bit snug everywhere (over a t-shirt and a very light sweater) ... and I can't zip it! So back it goes.
Great length, super light, runs small

This is a great ultralight WP jacket but it runs small. I love the longer length with 2-way zip. It has hand pockets, velcro cuffs, and a hood with 1 back pull and a bill that holds its shape. It stuffs into one of its pockets (which I didn't try), and the inside didn't feel slick on my skin. Though OR calls it standard fit, my normal size S barely fit over a T shirt and lightweight pants and was especially snug at the hip, though the sleeves were good. This was unexpected, as I have 2 other OR jackets in S that fit fine, even over a midlayer (I'm 5'4" 110 lb). So unfortunately I returned it and didn’t try a M as didn’t want its longer sleeves.
