Tried and true
Purchased this jacket as it's a highly recommended classic. Great value for the money. Excellent water repellency and highly highly durable for a Goretex shell.

Perfect for rainy and windy weather crossing the Pyrenees
I bought the Foray ll Gore-Tex ll because of the side zippers. Perfect venting. Protected me from the wind and miserable rain crossing the Pyrenees. It kept me warm and dry. Kept my backpack dry too. So much better than a poncho!!

Amazing jacket
I like it so much I think all future hard shells will have to have the full zippers down the sides.

Great jacket, would buy again
Great jacket that is standard for OR, with its strong history in water resistant shells. The zippers are sealed well, so no need for a flap. And, the side venting system is innovative and generally very useful. Technically Goretex Packllite, but seems just a water resistant as standard Goretex from a few years ago. Happy with the purchase, and would buy again!

The jacket that does it all... Perfectly
When I know it's going to rain, no matter the activity, (biking, running, backpacking, hiking, golfing, boating, fishing, out to town... you name it) the OR Foray II is always with me. Light in weight, stylish for town, and it does its job... keeps me dry. Doesn't get any better than that!

Perfect rain jacket!
My husband bought an OR rain jacket for me for Christmas, and I liked it so much that I bought an OR rain jacket for him for his birthday. He plans to take this jacket with him on a trip to Scotland because it does a superb job keeping him dry. The zippers on the side adjust to allow air in when desired, and the hood adjusts as well. Unlike most rain jackets, this one doesn't "crackle" when you move. As far as we can tell, this is the perfect rain jacket!
