Technology Is Everything.
Whatever your choice in go-to technology is, the Pixel Backpack is built to carry it—after all, its name has a direct connection to display screens, so it's obviously tech friendly. The padded sleeves protect your laptop and tablet, and the main compartment expands and compresses to keep your electronics secure.
Meanwhile, the Neospacer shoulder harness and spacer mesh Airscape back panel provide the same comfort that Osprey's big backpacks are known for. Osprey added a Powerhouse organizer for your cords, chargers, and other electronic accessories. Additionally, the Portal organization (that's located within the main compartment) was well-thought-out to provide spaces for all your daily accessories. This pack also features document sleeves in the main compartment and a zippered top non-scratch pocket for your smartphone or sunglasses. And, not to mention, the Pixel features a hidden, adjustable extension, offering you an extra 4-liters of room when push comes to shove.

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is a biased review because I have four Osprey packs of different sizes and uses, but I love this backpack for school. It keeps my belongings dry through sideways, pouring rain and the compartments are all easily accessible and roomy. Only drawback is that the laptop intended side-zip doesn't fit mine (15-in). This is mostly due to the mesh at the bottom that prevents your laptop from falling out if unzipped, which is fine. I'd rather the support be there than not, and accessing my laptop from the top flap isn't an inconvenience for me.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Looking for a commuter bag for my 90 minute Amtrak commute. Plenty of space, very comfortable to wear, great access to computer and tablet pouches via side zippers. Water bottle holders on both sides are sized for large Camelbak or Nalgene bottles and hold tight. Bag holds my lunch, a tablet, 15' laptop, chargers, book, note pad, jacket, + small personal items. all without being bulky.
Great bag. If you have doubts, don't - this bag is perfect for a commuter.
