The Orvis Clearwater 4-Piece Fly Rod casts with power and accuracy, without losing any feel, for a variety of species in rivers, lakes, or streams. The Clearwater rods come specific for freshwater or saltwater, and all rods feature Helios technology for lighter weight and more response with flex profiles that are well-suited for each rod's application.
The four-piece configuration makes it easy to travel or hike with while its emerald green graphite blank, dark olive wraps with silver tipping, and chrome snake guides round out the Clearwater's fine features. A gunsmoke aluminum reel seal provides improved durability and longevity especially on the Clearwater's saltwater rods. Orvis also gave its saltwater rods a cork and rubber fighting butt and a full wells handle (handle B) which helps to balance the rod and offer comfort when you fight fish. All rods include a green Cordura tube with divided interior and carry handle for protection during transport or storage.
