Small size, big deal.

Big things come in small packages. Don't let Nixon's Mod Watch fool you, it packs quite the personality. Slim and simple, the steel-buckled, nylon webbing strap gives this wristwatch a minimal silhouette with optimal comfort when perusing the boardwalk or your favorite local cafes. Though sleek, the Mod's design utilizes top-line materials to prolong its range and lifespan; stainless steel comprises the 38 millimeter custom case and the double gasket crown that lies flush along the case when not being used for adjustment. Super-accurate Miyota Japanese quartz movement tells you the hour, minute, and second with three molded hands upon a custom, painted dial. Nixon fitted the Mod with a double helping of hardened mineral crystal to complete this timepiece's watertight construction.

Poorly Constructed

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great looking watch, I love it's simplistic design. And it's a great watch if you can somehow avoid dropping it on a hard surface. I've dropped two, however, and both times doing so has dislodged the letters of the logo within the watch. The nylon wristband's pretty cheap and wears out easily as well. That contributed to the second drop. I've given up on it at this point.

This watch does not discriminate against wrist size , there are plenty of attachment holes throughout the nylon strap to cater to both small and large wrists, the only thing I would note here is that the face size is 38mm so it's pretty burly for someone with wrists as small as mine.

I gave this watch five stars because my issues with it are very- "It's not you, it's me."
