Brilliant illumination in a small package.

Designed for the daily commuter, ambitious road cyclist, or night-going trail rider, the NiteRider Lumina 1100 Boost Light delivers an astounding 1100 lumens of illumination, which casts a large swath of brilliant light on the darkest of nights. This means you'll stay safe when you're negotiating through traffic after dark, squeezing in a ride after sunset, or hitting the trails with the company of nocturnal animals and constellations overhead.

Five lighting levels dial in just the right amount of illumination, while offering lower modes for saving power when you need it to last. Speaking of battery life, the Lumina 1100 Boost lasts up to six hours on one of its lower settings (225 lumens of output) or an astounding 18 hours of run time in walk and flashing light modes. It's water-resistant to IP64 standards, withstanding passing showers and splashes without succumbing to damage. Backlit buttons allow for easy operation when you're toggling through different lighting modes in the dark.

The Lumina 1100 Boost Light includes a handlebar mount that works with standard and oversized 35-millimeter bars you'll find on mountain bikes. It comes with a USB charging cable that fully powers the light in as little as three hours, thanks to NiteRider's Intellicharge feature.

Well Made Light

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I haven't had to fuss the bar mount, just order the helmet mount for night riding. The light has a wide enough of a beam and the charge holds great. The weight is better than some of my previous lights as well. When getting bounced around techy sections it's nice not having your helmet bouncing just as much, if not more.
The lights been dropped a handful of times, survived a few spills on the bike and some down pours as well. I'd recommend it.

Nice light, terrible mount

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Nice beam pattern and good battery life. Works very well for early morning road rides in the dark. Smaller/lighter, but brighter light and longer lasting battery than the previous iteration. The only negative is that the rubber strap clamp is horrible. Only works if one is riding on glass smooth roads. Any bumps and the light rotates around the bars towards the ground. Ended up spending another $12 to get the Niterider screw-clamp style handlebar mount to solve the problem.

Nice and bright

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is plenty bright in a compact package. Run-times seem to be correct. The light fits easily on and off the handlebar mount, but installing the mount itself is tricky.

Good Light

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Decent light. Horrible engineering on the attachment. The rubber belt to attach to the handlebar is a terrible design.

I thought the same thing; you need to twist the top of the holster to allow the belt to slide through.

great light for evening rides or hikes

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

love niterider products. this is my second lumina light set. Ive used them during evening rides and this little thing is super bright. I have taken it during evening/night hikes as a back up to a headlamp and this lumina is the one i prefer using. Battery life is true to the specs. and charging is simple and easy to do. I leave it charging during the day without fear of the battery wearing down.

Great Light

Lights up the night more than you'd ever need. I just put it on my helmet for mountain biking and don't worry about anything else. Seriously, the brightness is astounding.
