Home away from home.

You and your family consider Mountainsmith's Cottonwood Tent your getaway home that's nestled between large trees tucked away in a secluded meadow. Not even mansions get this kind of luxury, and the tent's interior is large enough to give you the advantage when you're wrestling the wee ones into sleeping bags. The rain fly gives added wet weather coverage so everyone can have a dry space to play board games and wait out the storm, and it provides a vestibule to protect any gear you don' t have packed in the car.

  • Large tent suitable for family camping trips
  • Rain fly and floor offer reliable cover from wet weather
  • Breathable canopy with mesh windows at door and side for ventilation
  • Poles, stakes, and storage sack included for simple set up

VERY disappointed.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The tent goes up easily. We camped in it this weekend for the first. it POURED rain. The rain fly vestibule does not go all the way to the ground, so water would run down the vestibule wall and pool within. Thus, all gear in there got wet. We tried pulling the rainfly forward to make it touch the ground, but then the back tent stake wouldn't go in.
The WORST was how thin the floor is!! By having a good camping cot (that has only been used 2x), on the floor, it made holes! All we did was crawl in and sleep.
Don't waste your money!! I don't know if I can get mine back....
