That's a spicy meatball!

Finding all the ingredients to make spaghetti in the backcountry might require foraging skills you don't possess, but then again, squirrel meat doesn't make the tastiest meatballs anyway. You'd be better off bringing the Mountain House Spaghetti with Meat Sauce.

The Spaghetti is far and away my favorite Mountain House meal. It is so good. Hits the spot every time. I like to go just a little light on the water so it ends up a bit thicker. a couple of tablespoons less than 2 cups is just right for me.

A little taste of Italy!

This meal is a must have on all your backpacking excursions! You won't find pasta better than this anywhere.

Almost as good as Lasagna

If you are looking for good freeze dried food, look no further. Mountain House makes the best! Spaghetti is in my top 5 for flavors I bring when Backpacking. Lasagna takes #1.

Another great Mountain House product. You can't go wrong with them!

YUM

Tasted great and was a good, hearty meal to keep the calories up while going on a long, tough backpacking adventure through the Utah desert.

    Good classic

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Spaghetti is one of my go-to car camping meals, and while I'm definitely not about to start using this instead while car camping, it does a great job when weight is an issue. I love the larger 2.5 serving meals, and find myself really needing them on hard days.

    Yum

No complaints. Tastes great for what it is, and hits the spot after a day of backpacking.

Good tasting and easy to carry.

This made for a nice home style meal while on a trip.

        good meal

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Not much to say except it i felled me up and tasted good.

        Keeping it simple

Mountain House has kept me fed and happy in the back country and on resort days (who wants to pay 20$ for a crappy burger?) for years! I always make sure to have a handful of bags in stock for impromptu weekend trips or power outages. Spaghetti and meatballs is my favorite and provides a good ratio of carbs to protes after a long day.

        Kid-approved

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This was my 8-year-old niece's dinner one night out in the Uintas, after hiking in a few miles to camp. For a somewhat picky eater, she crushed it with no complaints. I'll take that as a big sign of approval.

        Still My Favorite

This is one of the best backpacking meals out there. Easy, failsafe, and tasty. Buy 2.

          Great meal!

It tasted rather delicious. And I'm as picky as they come.

          Thumbs up!

Classic. My GF is a picky eater but she loves eating this Spaghetti in the backcountry.
