Lightweight and Warm
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
My new jacket arrived in the mail in early February. Taking it out of the package, it felt like it was really light and I wasn't sure that it would keep me warm. I've worn it twice skiing this past week at Vail and Beaver Creek, where the temps were in the low 20s. Underneath the jacket, I was wearing a long sleeve merino wool shirt. I was very comfortable both days. This jacket is both lightweight and warm, a great combination.

Overall good jacket
I bought the jacket 3 months ago. So far I have been very happy with it. Fit is excellent, I am 5ft 10 and 150lb, small fits perfectly. Weight and warmth is excellent. My main concern is the collar, it soaks up all the oils from my neck and hair and stains it darker, this happened after the first few times of wearing it. The fabric shows it very easily and it looks kind of gross.

Excellent jacket... Nice and comfy and hugs the body? I got a large but I easily could?ve gotten a medium? Personal preference? Warm and comfy? In extra cold weather I?ve been using it as a mid layer? Great! Hope this is been useful to you folks!

Awesome Jacket

Bought this to replace 3 year old North Face Thermo Ball jacket that just wasnt keeping me as warm. I like this one better. Matte finish on the outside looks nicer, like the pattern on the down pockets, very water resistant for light rain and packs down small to fit in my pack for the way up the hill. During the week I wear it almost every day on the way to and from work. Highly recomend.
