When staying light on our feet is a priority, the Stretch Ozonic Jacket offers full weather protection at a lighter weight than most other shells. We hardly notice this Mountain Hardwear jacket stowed in our pack as we take to Oregon’s old-growth trails or our favorite peaks in the Rockies. And when it starts to rain? No problem, we just throw on the jacket, cinch the adjustable hood, and continue hiking with total peace of mind. The face fabric is made with Dry.Q technology, which offers ample stretch and breathability for the most active days in the rain.

Disappointed and Misled
This jacket will repel light rain for the first 5 minutes, but if you're expecting to spend more time in the rain, beware that this jacket will get absolutely soaked through. I spent the day in the rain yesterday, and within the first hour the jacket and my clothing underneath were absolutely drenched. As an avid hiker and climber, this jacket will not be making the cut on future adventures. Less mountain hardwear more city streetwear in my experience.

Great jacket
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought this several months ago and have used it a lot. It's an excellent jacket. I'm tall (5'11'') and this is plenty long enough for me both in body and sleeves. Might be too long for shorter women. I bought a medium, which has room to layer over a fleece. It is waterproof in moderate rain, but eventually wets through in heavy sustained rain. I've used it under a pack and haven't had any problems with wear in the strap areas.

Amazing
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This jacket is amazing. I work in BC where it rains daily, I work outdoors and this keeps me dry and warm with a fleece layer under. Best jacket ever

Great jacket
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I own one gore tex jacket, but I wanted something for emergency use. Small and light, so I can keep it in my backpack and use it as windbreaker and rain jacket on my hikes, travels, biking, or everyday use. And this jackets seems really great. It's really stretchy, good for any activity, and small. I haven't really used it in heavy rain, so I can't say anything about waterproofness. But seem pretty breathable and windproof. I bought yellow color and I really like this color and fit. It will look good on pictures in mountains.
