Rockrydge Pant keeps movement natural on rock, trail, and travel days
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I grabbed these for long days at the local crag and they’ve become a regular in my rotation. The cotton blend feels casual enough for town, but the stretch and articulated knees really help when you’re high stepping or stemming. The pull-on waist and adjustable cuffs make them easy to dial in for climbing."
Some days start with a long dirt-road approach and end with tacos in town, and the Rockrydge™ Pant from Mountain Hardwear is built for exactly that rhythm. We pull them on when the plan is simple: hike to the cliff, climb until our hands give out, then hang around the base trading stories before heading back to town.
The soft cotton-blend fabric brings everyday comfort, while added stretch helps us move confidently through high steps and awkward stems. Articulated knees keep the fabric moving with us on the wall, and the elastic pull-on waist with an adjustable belt dials in the fit when we’re wearing a harness. Multiple pockets stash small essentials, and adjustable cuffs keep pant legs clear of footholds while climbing. It’s the kind of pant that handles the crag, the approach, and the rest of the day without missing a beat.
